It took me a while to get hold of them, but I did. Despite the fact that each container was plastic-coated on both sides, I had no idea there were several thin pieces of wax inside. The more trouble I had was trying to remove the plastic from each piece before trying to use the one piece and then think of what to do with the rest of the pieces. Even though I tried to combine the wax pieces, the plastic was almost impossible to remove from one side. Although I used a single piece of wax, it did not seem to work as well as other waxes I've tried in the past.
Although I would of given it 5 stars, I found when you plug your pen into the wax, it did not pick up the wax at all. A couple of times I have to try again, and sometimes I have to use my finger to stuff the tip, which is annoying and time consuming. This process takes a lot of time. Thanks to the wax sent with this kit, I was able to make a much better result!.
This is an overall great concept, however the clay is seperated by plastic, so there are actually two layers in it. Your drill pen doesn't go deep enough if you just put one layer of it in! Having them removed and pushing them together for better use is most definitely a good idea.
I like the idea of this and the value of getting three wax sheets per container, however, some of the wax sheets melted to the clear film and I was unable to remove them, so I threw.
This is similar to the wax in the small capped container.
Putty will be preserved for a long time this way!.
The little jars where it is kept to keep it from drying out are great. If you put too much ink on the pen, however, some color shows through.
