That's a very nice set up, the end doesn't need to be attached. If bubble wrap is not available, you may add it.

I was leaving on a business trip and there was no time to get something else, so I fixed it by screwing screws into the handle attachments. Even when I was just carrying it in the terminal, the screws came out and I was left with a carry on bag without a carrier. I took it as my carry on as I could tell it was not strong enough to endoure baggage handlers. On my trip back home, when I picked the chair up by the handle (treating it like a dozen eggs), the handle completely broke off. I used gorilla glue to secure the screws in place while traveling, but as soon as I picked it up, it broke without warning. In order to carry out my plans, I have to return this product and get a refund, then look for a better product.
It is the perfect size to hold a small golf bag with six clubs, I needed a tube with variable length. It was easy to haul it up onto the trolley's upper rack when I traveled by train. The luggage will hold the small amount of clubs I need for my next round of golf. All other golf bag specific containers are way too large for the small amount of clubs I need.
When extended, the frame is a bit flimsy and pricey.
Building plans come in it, so I purchased it for that purpose. There is no mention of the maximum weight limit for the tube in the description. I found out why the box it came in recommended a weight of 7 pounds maximum after receiving it. When working with heavy sets of plans, the clamps that connect the straps to the tube and the handle will break away. Furthermore, the screw top of the screw top is prone to coming undone. I've lost track of my plans numerous times while carrying the strap. It would break, the top would fall off, and the contents would spill out, usually in a busy street or in a crowded office. In the end I fixed this by attaching the carry strap to the tube with plastic strapping. If someone was not going to carry large, heavy rolls of paper in the big diameter tube, why would they buy it?.
The handle is broken and the strap is worn out. This tube is excellent in and of itself. This design is very poor for the handle and straps. An extra light display was inside. I picked it up by its handle, and when I lifted it up, the handle broke off, causing the case to tumble to the ground. Regardless of how far you telescope the case, the handle will always be at the right height to balance the load. I like the idea, but the construction is poor and the handle easily slips from its position with little effort. The strap is also not well designed the lower end is attached to a sliding grommet which makes sense since the tube telescopes and the strap It is surprisingly easy to slide the grommet out of its position, because there is no way to lock it into place. As long as you want to keep the strap in place, that isn't useful.
The catch teeth in the case don't stay engaged once you've set it to the desired length, resulting in the tube collapsing and crushing the ends of the art it is supposed to protect. The handle pops off the case when you put any weight in the case.
This is a very delicate flower.
