Selected User Reviews For Large Artist Portfolio Case with Adjustable Shoulder Strap (Black, 35 x 24 x 1.5 Inches)
Likes: Both sides of the plastic are solid, but they are thin. My watercolor paintings were well protected by this bag, which was neither too heavy nor too light. It arrived right on schedule. Although it cost more than other options, it was still a good deal. Dislikes: The claimed dimensions are for extremely large outside dimensions. My 32"x23 1/2" drawing board sticks up above the zipper closing, despite the fact that it claims to be 36 1/2"x 24 1/2". I can close the top zipper all the way, but the sides don't fit. It would be nice if it closed, but it isn't a deal breaker in the end. Durability: This was the biggest size. I haven't had it for more than a week, so I'm not sure.
This is the second time I've tried to purchase an art portfolio on Amazon. The first arrived folded in a box and was of the same quality as a promotional tote bag. Although this bag is of higher quality, it is still trash. It has some sort of metal around the edges, but it's so thin and flat that it must be paper thin. If you just sit it down on the ground, it can't even stand up under its own weight and will fall down and roll up. The entire purpose of an art portfolio is to keep fragile items safe and flat. It's going back to you.
I got back to you right away. It's of ridiculous quality. I'm guessing it cost less than $2 to make. 00 worth of supplies More than $35 has been added to the bill. I could see it working as a canvas cover, but wow, that's an expensive cover; I could make my own with posterboard or a plastic bag. I wanted it for my large sketch pad and all of my posterboard art, but it was so flimsy and bendy that it would have bent, creased, and ruined my work if I tried to use it. I came back and was upgraded to the $55 room. 00 on Amazon, which turns out to be a good, if pricey, product.
This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed to replace a very inexpensive cardboard portfolio that I had purchased as a class supply. This case appears to be well-constructed and durable. It's not a hard-sided portfolio, but it's sturdy enough to get the job done. I keep artwork (up to 26x19 inches) in my storage room. 5"), as well as my drawing board (26 x 23 inches). 5" (it just about fits, but it does). I am very pleased with the product and its value for money.
Please don't be concerned. My son is keeping it and storing the larger papers in the BOX it came in. This was not ideal or what I had hoped for. He's content with it in some way.
It's truly amazing. It's where I keep my jigsaw puzzles that are finished and glued. To keep the matte finish from sticking, I use large pieces of sketch paper in between. It's quite large, and it fits any size puzzle I've seen so far.
This will keep your photographs safe, but because it is soft, it must be stored flat.
