The brush washer that I bought about a year ago was manufactured in May of 2018. The lid has a very thick seal and so far there have not been any leaks! In addition to use for oil painting classes, I have also taken it to different locations and so far it has worked just fine. Honestly, I don't know where else you can get one for this price and quality!

Paint cleaners like this one both because they are large and they are of good quality. Aluminum is used in its construction, and it is very sturdy. The most important feature, like advertised, is that it's airtight when closed. It is impossible for me to count how many times I have spilled Gamsol (using other containers) in my tackle box while moving my painting supplies. This one has not given me a single problem. I also like the shape of the container since it is small enough to fit in the top of my paint box and its size makes it more stable. As for the purchase, I am very happy with it.
