The brush cleaner I purchased is to be used with this. I like how easy it is to use and how well made it seems. Due to the high height of the sieve type inner cup, I figured I could only make good use of it by pouring an excessive amount of cleaning fluid in. As it turns out, I can just tip the container and get my brush soaked just fine this way. It actually works quite well. The next time there is a sale, I will purchase more. I hope so. *As a side After 30+ years of not painting oil, I am picking up again after thirty years and am using Chelsea Classic Studio products to promote healthier studio practices, even more important as I work The solution I used in open jars of lavender spike oil and lavender brush cleaner was not a good replacement for these solvents, as I found myself getting nauseous/dizzy and my lips felt tingly or numb after using them all day. It is extremely difficult for me to handle scents and smells. Henceforth, I keep all bottles closed and store them in air tight plastic bins, decant only what I need at a time with eye droppers, and use this brush cleaner as it is easy to use. Then I switched to Citrus Brush Cleaner by CCS.
According to the description here, I gave it 4 stars at first. Why the number one was changed in the following section. It is not a bad project overall, however there are two things that could be improved I. 1. In this insert for brush cleaning, I see more solvent being required than I should*. There is no way the insert can be somewhat immobilized against the container, so it moves around freely when cleaning brushes against it. The result makes brush cleaning more difficult than it should be. In order to change that to one, I had to change the number. One of the clasps in the lid just fell off after being used 3 times (open and close) one of the "clasps" attached to the container just fell off after being used 3 times. It appears that they are glued, and you can see that they are not very well adhered.
A great value for the Maybe it's the least expensive one of its kind on the web for its size. Could have been a little deeper on the inside of the filter. You have to add a lot of terpenoids to make it remain over the filter when you use it for oil paint.
To help with cleaning, there is a mesh stand at the bottom that you run the brush over. There is also a bar on the inside of the stand for pressing the brush against after cleaning to remove any excess mineral spirits. There is a gasket on the lid that allows it to seal tightly when The product is of very high quality!.
Containers like these are my favorite. I only have one complaint The overcharge for the overage is not clear It wears out in 5 years, but the can still works, but I can never find a replacement A thinner and wiggly gasket is used in this case. It was a perfect fit when I put in my old basket. It does not have the good placement of the bar in the basket as the older model does. Unlike regular OMS tanks, this one holds a large volume of the liquid and does not release fumes when it is Having been a professional artist for over a decade, I like the.
It is only a very small sample size. You should have been paying more attention to that! If I need a soup can, I can use one.
I have written two of them. This is the first one that is perfect for artists. There are no leaks or fumes. It also works for fine woods if you use lemon oil.
You can top it over if you wish- I won't spill anything. It was grabbed by a 3 year old- The door would not open
Dust it with a damp.
