I can tell you that it's made in China
There is a 55mm gap between the strainer and the bottom of the pot. In order for the brushes to stand up on their own, the brushes would be better lowered. As for covering the strainer, you use a lot of gurps.
The process is very simple. Since I have two studios, I bought two of them. I've had one for years and I use it all of the time.
The container holds a pint of liquid or 16 ounces. There are some that sell it for $50+, but I got it for $19. Be sure to shop around. Those sales can be found if you watch and wait. Furthermore, the product is great and I wish I had gotten it earlier in time!

Since I went on vacation right after ordering this, I was not able to use it until this week, 07-07-2007 I used it for the first time in 2019 and sadly it rusted. There is still 30 days left in the window, and I am unable to revert to the original order. Every time I used it, I washed it off. Where the handle connects to the cup, it rusts. It is a very cute product, but I think I will just use a large plastic cup next time.
With the lid, I can paint plein air, but most of the time I use it for indoor painting on my easel. In the future, I may purchase a second one, so that as I paint, I will have two jars, one to use with lighter colors and one with darker colors.
This book is amazing! I can't say enough nice things about it!.
On the top and sides, this product has simple stamped steel fittings, all of which have sharp edges on all sides. There's no point in doing cheap engineering if you can't Make sure your hands are safe when handling this. It includes a flat steel handle with sharp edges, and not a round wire handle like the one shown in the There is a possibility that I will need to tape the handle.
This I purchased in the hopes that I would use it with oil paints, but it turned out to be good for plain water for acrylics and watercolors as well. The bucket is nice and small. The handle is riveted to the main can with stainless steel, but the rivets that hold it to the fork are made from copper. Several months after they were purchased, they have begun to rust. I like the spill proof lid since my car likes to knock things off the counter/table and I've ended up spilling drinks, brush water, well, anything that wasn't nailed down.
I love this cleaning bottle because it is the perfect size to take with me on plein air paintings. I don't have trouble with leaks, the brush cleaner doesn't harm my brushes, and the mineral spirits stay clean for weeks. In addition, I believe this one is the best value.
There is a need for one. My order was split into two separate ones. One had to be replaced because the lid would not stay locked it would just pop off after a short period of time. Two of the others are used for rinsing paint brushes with water. In transit, the lid must be locked and remain locked, as three cups of clean water mixed with dirty paint water can create a messy situation. As soon as the seller issued a refund, he did so.
I was previously cleaning mine with paint thinner and a piece of paper towel. A #42 Elgin coffee mill is in the process of restoration. Because I'm doing it all by hand, there are no decals, so it doesn't look fake. In order to keep my fine tip brushes clean, I had to clean them constantly. With these new instructions, I just dip, drag over the strainer, and drag all the way across the bar.
