They will fit if you lie down, but not if you stand up.
The ArtBin website has an 800 number to call to see if the insert dividers can be purchased separately from the box. I've never needed to make a separate purchase, but if I did, I'd start there.
Approximately 3" across the top and bottom, and approximately 2" across the middle. The two in the middle get a 5" for their efforts. They are adamant in their stance on the subject. 5cm.

This was made to fit full-size faux leather, which I ordered. I ordered it because the dimensions provided by the company indicated that it would be large enough to accommodate the pieces. It is clear from my four photos that it is not what is advertised. Now I have to cut my leather to fit it into these containers, defeating the purpose of purchasing it in the first place.
I bought it for all of my planner accessories, and they all fit perfectly because I pay attention to the measurements listed. The locking portion literally fell apart the first time I used it, so it's just "alright. " I even found $3 products at Ross and Marshall's that were very similar. I wouldn't mind if it fell apart for four dollars at a discount store, but here we are, nearly twenty dollars down the drain. I think it's safe to say I'm not overly pleased with this purchase, despite the fact that it does the job.
I purchased this product from a craft store a few years ago, and the quality and sturdiness have deteriorated in comparison to the one I recently purchased. They aren't built as well or as strong as they once were.
I have a few finished projects laying around my sewing room, or I'd like to gather materials for a future project so everything is ready to go when I'm ready to start. I bought several of these plastic ArtBin containers to keep my workspace from becoming a shambles. They're about 14" by 14" and maybe 3" deep, which makes them ideal for storing all of the fabrics and trims for a sewing project. br>br>This one latches shut and has a nice handle, so you can carry it to sewing class or wherever. The color is a light aqua. It's a little bluer than I expected, but I like it. (I try to only buy supplies that match the colors in my sewing room, which are lavender, purple, aqua, teal, and apple green. ) )br>br>All of the ArtBin satchels and containers are fantastic. They make keeping organized simple, which my OCD appreciates. " I give this product five stars and would recommend it to anyone who sews or crafts and requires storage containers. Sewing, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, and other craft projects are all possible with this fabric.
Amazon's fulfillment center: Cracks and breaks aren't just for show. Scratches on less than half of the lid would be considered cosmetic damage!.
They're very strong and can hold a lot of weight. They're a little pricey, but in my opinion, they're well worth the money. They stack nicely, and the color is one of my favorites. I label the contents with sticky address labels so I can see what I have at a glance, and they help me stay organized. When I use these, I don't have a lot of extra stuff.
This bin is one of my favorites. It can be used for a variety of purposes. I use them for my cross-stitch supplies (I purchased three). Patterns, floss, and fabric all have their own compartments. They have a lot of capacity and are simple to stack and transport. They come in handy for me.
I bought several to organize my shop because they are ideal for organizing. Colors are nice, and you can see what's inside through them.
