I have the following message to send to manufacturers I was able to ruin this ruler because of your UPC code sticker on the cork. Designed to grip the material, the cork allows the material to be cut efficiently. As I tried to remove the UPC sticker on my project so there wouldn't be marks left, the label was impossible to remove. As soon as the cork is ripped away, it rips apart. Merchandise was ordered yesterday so that we can finish a project for a client As I write this note, I am not sure how to finish the project I began. I recommend you read through these reviews and solve this problem.
There's nothing I love more than A 30-year-old one I have is gone now because I got tired of searching for it. Here are a few more I got. Basically, this ruler is the same, with a few minor A finer marking can be seen. In addition, the ruler was extended by a quarter inch so that the 0 and 12 markings were no longer at the end. Now that I have removed the sticker, it is a great ruler. I am deducting a star because of this. On top of the cork they put a sticker that is impossible to remove in one piece and requires a lot of effort to remove without damaging it. There are others who are reporting the same issue as mine. It would be better to use a better sticker or to place it on the back.
I had no complaints about the ruler - it worked perfectly In case the metallic side is scratched, the product is still usable However, the UPC sticker that was placed on the cork side could not be removed without tearing. the cork backing of the ruler was actually pulled off by the magnet. There is no damage to the product, so I would avoid buying the item. I'm not sure if the sticker was placed by Amazon, Acme (the seller) or the manufacturer.
The only way to give this less than five stars is to not give it one. There are two sides to this basic ruler a metal side and a cork side. All goes well. Whenever someone would need one, I would tell them that this one is quite similar to that which one can get at a brick-and-mortar.
When you removed the bar code sticker, the cork became ruined. I only gave it three stars because of the stupid barcode sticker that came with the product. It is not obvious at first glance, but I had to remove the sticker by either gouging out or rubbing off the cork. The details are painted on, so I'd guess the stickers weren't put on the stainless steel side since the numbers and tick marks might rub off, especially if a.
This is my second Wescott stainless ruler, and the first one (that I ordered too) started with a super stuck sticker/label on I hate it! me some time, but I was able to remove the label with only a few scratches on There is nothing wrong with this product, and I would have given it a 5 star rating if it did not have the label on the cork (and some light scratches on the cork).
This device shows no signs of wear and tear and has been used almost daily. Although the cork backing had been accidentally soaked in water a few times, it still seemed brand new.
In terms of price, it is not bad for a metal ruler under $5. This is a poor product because it is flimsy and might not stay straight if you are not careful. Secondly, as some previous reviewers have pointed out, there is a barcode sticker on the bottom that should be removed. Keeping the ruler in place while you are using it will be easier if you remove the clip. problem is that if you don't remove the sticker slowly (and I mean really, really slowly), it could leave behind sticky residue and maybe even cause the cork backing to come off. All of the reviews lead me to be very careful about removing mine, and I did it exactly as described. Last but not least, the edges of the ruler feel a bit unfinished, and so they might cut your hands if not handled carefully. Use this ruler with caution if you are going to let children use it.
