WOWbr>Some people are simply unable to comprehend how things work in life. These will not work if you use a very fine needle. These will not work if you're using a thread that's close to the needle's maximum size. br>First, the wire must pass through the eye; if the eye is too small, they will not function. The thread must then be looped through the wire. You'll be pulling two wires and two threads through the eye at the same time (along with the bend in the thread that's over the wire). They won't work if you have a small eye or are using thread that is close to the needle's maximum size. I have them on all of my sewing machines. br>br> They work on each and every one of them. The blind stitch and the over stitch are both done with two needles. The eyes on these machines are curved, making it difficult to see them, let alone thread them. br>And they make threading my lock stitch and chain stitch machines a breeze. br>br>You may need to bend the wires to make them work for different machines; however, I keep them in the machines drawer and only use them for the machine for which they were bent. br>br>AND, yes, the wire will wear out and break after a long period of use. They aren't going to be around indefinitely.

Wonderful antiques! I've been trying to thread a needle for years, but my old eyes just can't seem to focus on that tiny eye and the thin thread! I was fortunate enough to come across this set of needle threaders! They're a godsend because they're so simple to use, and the variety of colors makes it easy for me to locate one when I need one

When the thread is thicker, the needle's hole or "eye" is more open, which makes these items ideal. All you have to do now is thread the small wire through the needle's "eye. ".
