Kaqulec Updated 2020 Version Bodkin Threader 10Pcs/Set Flexible Drawstring Threader Replacement (2 Plastic and 2 Metal Drawstring Threader, 2pcs Metal Tweezers,1Storage Bag,3pcs Flat plastic threader)

This was purchased with the intention of threading ties through mask channels. I was trying to use large safety pins, but they kept getting stuck and poking through the fabric. In this set, I tried to use the bodkin, but the tightening ring was too large for my channels, and it became stuck. I took out the other metal tool and put it to use. I'm not sure what to call it (see photo), but it worked great! When it comes to finishing masks, this will literally save me hours! This set's versatility is also appealing to me. I'll be threading flat elastic in headbands with the large plastic ones, and I can't wait to make drawstring PJ pants for my four-year-old. This will be a piece of cake with the long tool!.

I used a metal bodkin (not the one with the little metal circle that you push to keep the bodkin closed - that's not the one I used). and the one I used (there are two similar ones) is very effective. The one with the metal circle was a stumbling block for me and did not work well. I haven't tried the plastic versions yet. However, I was able to complete the task using the tool I desired. I used it to pull a drawstring through a casing on a piece of clothing I'd made, and it was a breeze - That one in particular comes highly recommended.

However, keep in mind that the listing is untrue. br>br>"Stretch" has no bearing on this product. br>br>Ease of use: The various methods for threading a string or elastic through a garment or bag are fairly straightforward. The "thickness" of a tool is determined by its size. They're exactly what I expected, with the exception that the long plastic thingies are about 2 feet long (not sure if that's necessary, but I'll try it).

I was about to toss the package out the window when I realized I only had two of the four metal pieces. To find them, I had to rummage through the packaging. Except for them, everything else has been packaged.

They come with no instructions or information, but they're surprisingly simple to put together. The longer ones aren't as durable as I had hoped; after just one use, the pink one is already showing signs of wear, and I wouldn't be surprised if it snaps before ten uses.

These were purchased for the purpose of threading elastic and cording. I can't figure out how to use some of the items because the elastic has slipped out. There were no instructions for how to use the product. I've been sewing for 45 years and have previously used similar tools with good results. These, on the other hand, are a different story. They are not something I would recommend.

This was purchased to aid in the passage of elastic or similar materials through the casings of masks I am making for my family. I discovered that a safety pin wasn't working very well on some of them. I've only used one of these tools so far, and it's fantastic! br>These were loose when I opened the package they came in. Because the package isn't wrapped in anything, make sure you empty it completely before throwing it away.
