The thimbles that I have tried have varied greatly. I have tried metal, palm, leather, and they all work, but they don't stay on, or the needle slips off the end of my finger, or won't hold the end of the needle when I push through As of now, the system seems to be working quite well. I can push a needle through it without damaging the silicone since it stays on my finger and is pliable but thick enough not to tear. at the tip of the index finger thimble is quite useful for pushing, and the connecting strip keeps the thimbles attached. I had no problems working with him.
There is a gap between the two pieces of the bag because the straps are connected. When handquilting, the needle gets stuck in the silicone piece of the thumb piece, which is supposed to assist with gripping the needle. I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but I just can't get it to.
Apart from that, it's great. My only complaint is that the strap broke after just a few minutes of use. Not happy with the results.
My goal is to find the one glove that fits perfectly and I won't have to lose it constantly. We have reached the pinnacle of our industry. I love this fingerless glove because it's so easy to use. This is the best product ever!.
I like these finger grips because you can't lose one and you can't cut them apart. They are also so easy to use.
Thanks so much. Product is of high quality.
It's perfect for my needs.
