Questions & Answers

Are there any differences in gauge or needle size?

It's not clear what size needles are in that gauge. To repair the convertible top on my car, I used them to stitch up areas. The weight of these needles enabled me to push through the canvas and pull my heavy thread (I doubled up the thread to pull it through). Generally, the kit carried out its task well. It had been my intention to buy two Two needles and a variety of threads (different colors) came in one kit. As I completed the repairs between the two kits, I am satisfied with how they turned out. It might help if you read this.

Is the needlepush able to be used on thick leather, e.g. two pieces of leather, or would you have to prepare holes beforehand?

It is important to prepunch the leather first the needle is not to penetrate leather, only stitch through it. It would be a good idea to get some leather stitching chisels.

Can you tell me where this is made?

The tool isn't marked with a stamp or a label, as I have examined it. Sorry about that. It's not been the subject of any use by me so I can't provide any reviews.

The thread that comes with this is fine or coarse?

An awl and fine thread are included with the sewing awl.

The product is not ready for use it requires some adjustment to work correctly and is still very I was able to fix some issues with the item I received, but they caused me some inconvenience Observations 1

There is very little room for the bobbin in the space, so it jams quite often. I had to remove the cover in order to get it to 1. . 2. Threads with a thin inner diameter (dynema) require more force in order to be pulled (bobbin's inner diameter is too small). Lastly, 3. There is some effort involved in taking out the back cover (or plug), since it does not fit into the slot Item 4. In addition, the collet does not hold the needle well enough. It can accidentally come off when working with heavy materials (e. g. Sailing cloth). 4. *br Its needle is made of some kind of 'generic' stainless steel, which is not as durable as needed to handle.
