The handle is made of tough plastic.
Neither blades nor a case are included. It has been ages since I bought it, and it still has a very sharp blade. You would need blades, but I am not sure where to find them. You should be very careful when using this blade, it is very sharp

Because I was working with lightweight fabrics, I was afraid it would damage them. While it can, it nevertheless works perfectly. You have to be cautious when using a seam ripper as with any other tool. I've never experienced a seam ripper that's as fast and easy to use as this one. You may want to consider these tips As soon as you have ripped the seam and you have all the tiny threads to pull out, use a lint roller (the sticky kind) to pull them. There's a good chance it'll get This seems to be a bit flimsy, but is actually quite robust. Even though one could probably break it if they tried, but it has survived some intensive seam ripping, heavy textiles, and heavy If you aren't using it, keep the cover on. It is quite sharp, so you may want to keep it covered.
When I use this seam ripper, I use it primarily to correct errors caused by poor stitching on my machine or from my own When I found this seam ripper, I was searching for seam rippers in general to replace ones that had "disappeared" from my work area. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would either be a valuable tool for my job or a complete waste of time. That was the right decision for me. I keep thinking that it was the right decision. I'm so glad that this tool exists, but I'm not pleased with having to use it. It makes what was once a major issue into just a minor inconvenience (because nothing is more frustrating than having to tear seams).
Some of my shirts had some embroidery on them and I wanted to remove it. I was pleased with the shirts, and I was quite unhappy to have them relegated to weekends since they were embroidered with another company's logo. If used carefully, this tool can perform a lot of work. This will not speed up the work greatly, since there is still a lot of tedious work if you do not want to stretch out the fabric or tear it, but it will reduce the amount of mistakes because you will use a very small amount of force. There's nothing quite like it in the world. Originally, we thought the blade would stay sharp only for a few shirts, but I imagine that it will endure long enough that I can finish cutting all the shirts I will need to cut. I might do more embroidery removal (but why. A) I'll get something that has replaceable blades.
During the day, I rip seams at an alterations shop where I work as an intern. When I first received this seam ripper, I thought it was great. The point of my thumb was so sharp that I sliced my thumb and almost bled all over my A week and a half have passed since I last used the saw, and now the blade is so dull I can saw it on my hand without getting cut. That retractable one with interchangeable blades would have been better for me.
The feeling of unsewing can be frustrating, especially when you sewed a seam with serging. One of my sleeves was not checked when I was sewing a dress for my granddaughter. In the process of serging, I saw that I had messed up and when I went to the ironing board, I corrected the problem. A seam ripper like this is quick and easy to use and takes all of the serged threads out with ease. Nevertheless, it is important to be careful There is a lot of edge to the blade. It would have been nice to have purchased these a long time.
The seam ripper is great. The blade of the knife is very sharp, so it can even remove the tiniest If you do not intend to use it, please keep the cover on to keep it sharp and keep yourself safe. The tool helps me remove defective stitching quickly and easily even when I'm not at my best.
Several hours of time are saved.
It would have been nice if the handle had been a bit bigger, but that's.
