For the sharp end, I received a cover.
After searching for the clover ergonomic seam ripper's name online, I found one in the original packaging, with the words "Japan" written on it
There are five inches in it
According to the packaging, this seam ripper was made in Japan, but I have no idea if that is the case for all of them.
Selected User Reviews For Clover White Ergonomic Seam Ripper
As soon as I noticed that my favorite seam ripper had a much smaller point than all of my other seam rippers, I searched for another brand. When I checked the Amazon shop, I found the clover brand was not available in local fabric stores. Both of them (both Clover brands) have a smaller size point (compared to other brands). Therefore, they will tear seams much more easily.
This seam ripper doesn't cause discomfort when you are removing a seam, and it makes removing a seam almost enticing! It has a large handgrip that prevents my hand from tiring out from using it for long periods. What I found most pleasant was the fine tip and very smooth finish of the blade itself. The only reason I ordered this one was because it has a larger handle. I've used an excellent seam ripper that came with my sewing machine for years. Even with the ergonomic problems, I think this is the best seam ripper I have ever used! Imagine if Clover added a magnifying glass to the model!.
The level of concentration I had to exert to make them work almost caused me to throw up. My final decision was to use tiny embroidery scissors instead. After watching some reviews on YouTube for seam rippers, I noticed that a lot of people said that this particular one was better than the rest. Based on my experiences using clover products, I decided to follow up with it. Having fallen in love with so many Clovers products, people may think I'm paid to write these reviews, but I assure you it's not the case. This was one of my favorite Clover creations. I'm usually a picky sewer who gives up quickly when it's hard. Clover products keep blowing me away and this one was no different. My first seam ripper was so powerful that I could literally push it and an entire length of seam was ripped apart. From now on, I won't have to stitch by stitch.
I was able to use it for only five minutes before it broke on me. This fabric should not have broken so easily because it was not very thick. There's no way I can return the product to Amazon. It is advisable to beware of potential buyers.
It was after watching a video that I decided to buy There is less taper in the tip and the point is This led me to believe it was smaller than I originally There is no more than 5 inches of it. has a nice rubber area on the side that helps me firmly grip it, so I don't have to worry about it sliding around in my hand. I have an issue with my hand, so I have to be careful about what I purchase. The fact that it doesn't get big enough is what marked it as not ergonomic. However, it is better than the ones that come with sewing machines, which are A plastic sheath is all that's needed in place of a cap. It's kind of important that it doesn't break or interrupt something, so I'm not sure why they skipped over it.
I had struggled with the one I grabbed at Joann's, and I finally said, it's time! Thank you so much for the order. To remove the rest of the stitches on this garment was actually a lot of fun.
The cover is made from a cheap plastic bag-like material that does not provide any My goal is to develop a better cap that will protect the wearer from being cut or impaled by the ripper part of the device. I'd prefer an oval-shaped cap or one that is.
I have used it before and enjoyed it very much, but I lost it, so I ordered one like it. It's a new one, but unfortunately has a flaw that prevents it from being used. There was some plastic stuff on the long, sharp pointy end of the brush from the short end that got dripped onto the long It is very difficult to remove the plastic drip and it It would only be possible to remove it by filing it down but I would lose most of the smoothness of the I returned it as a result. My old one was found in the meantime. The truth is, it was my husband who stumbled upon My phone would focus a little closer if it had a closer focus mode. It's possible to see some red stuff on the blade if you look closely. My thanks to Amazon for making the return process completely hassle-free.
