Who makes these products? Where do they come from?

In the product description of the website, there is no information about the product. My sewing box was emptied and I grabbed the bag out of it to see if anything was noted. On the cardboard wrap that has still been applied to the flexible tape measure, it says "made in China.". All items are without markings indicating where they were made, including seam rippers, thread snippers, and the bag. If the tape measure was made in China, does this mean the whole kit was made in China or just the tape measure itself? Furthermore, I purchased this over a year ago, and I am not sure if I have used it or not. Please accept my condolences for my inability to assist.

Whenever I need them, I use them

This isn't meant to be a compliment to my sewing abilities but I really am good at sewing. The deconstruct them and I use them to cut up my jeans before quilting, and they stand up well under some firm pressure through denim seams. With others, I've had the point snap off with just an aforementioned twisting action or pressure applied to get into a thick seam, no matter how hard it tries. In my opinion, the little snip scissors should not be used. I had some problems with the blades, but that is not why I bought the kit. They were an add-on to the tape measure, for me. One of those would be nice to have hanging around the neck of everyone, wouldn't it? Quite a bit of value for a product that works well.
