Forget it, these scissors are a pain to use. Like normal scissors, they don't even open all the way.
It's more like a hot pink than the bubblegum or blush I was hoping for. However, they are not as vibrant as hot pink.

scissors are one of my favorite tools - I have a large collection of various types, including every decorative edge scissors I've ever seen. As much as I adore them, I am extremely harsh with them. Okay, I'll admit that I'm a bit of a jerk when it comes to Hello, my name is Katherine, and scissors are not my friend. My actions are bone-chilling - I don't simply cut paper, as you may have noticed. Everything was hacked apart. With the same scissors as before. I'm not sure why I do it, but I do. I have a variety of utility knives, razor blades, tin snips, saws, aviation snips, electrician's scissors, and other tools, but I still reach for scissors - for some reason. The scissors, on the other hand, aren't fond of it. They "twang," the hinges break, the blades become extremely dull, and the list goes on - They're just not up to par; you'd think I'd pick up on it, but nope - they're just not up to par. I simply went out and purchased some more scissors. Scissors are always cheap. (With the exception of my Cutco Super Shears, which I use exclusively. ) Those things are incredible, capable of cutting through things I would never believe if I hadn't witnessed it firsthand. ) Looking for a good pair of scissors that are both strong and sharp - with a discount - implying that I have a lot of work ahead of me. (I hope I'm not boring you. ) )br>br>Unfortunately, I had to put my last pair to rest, for which I accept full responsibility - They were excellent scissors. (This is when I realized that, in order to cut it out, therapy may be in order, but I digress. ) They were truly exceptional, but my insane expectations of them wore them out far too soon. ) I decided to order a variety of pairs so that I wouldn't be caught off guard. I believe I've finally discovered some that are up to par - They're also pink, which gives them a sophisticated appearance. I've only had these scissors for about six weeks, but they're fantastic so far! They've put up with everything I've asked of them and are always willing to help. The point is that the blades are of adequate length and sharpness. When I used them to cut a metal pin, I only got a minor nick in the metal - Their performance was unaffected as a result. These were able to cut regular paper without difficulty after cutting some thick chipboard (cardboard). So far, these scissors have met my expectations - They're right on the mark. br>br>Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, o also, here's a hint: If your scissors become dull, fold a piece of aluminum foil several times before cutting it. The greater the number, the better. The blades will become sharper as a result of this procedure. Apply the same technique to a piece of waxed paper to keep the scissors cutting smoothly. This will "lubricate" your scissors and allow them to cut more smoothly. Cut and dry: br>br> These are something I'd buy again. The Pink Ribbon Stainless Steel Scissors from Westcott are fantastic - You'll be able to cut your teeth on some of these scissors.
I bought these as a gift for a pink-obsessed friend. They perform admirably, just like the rest of the Westcott scissors I've tried. They are not, however, the pale pink shown in the listing. They have a bubble gum pink color to them. I'm a little let down.
I don't expect much from my scissors--in fact, I don't expect anything at all. Don't suck, cut some paper, open a package now and then. Because these scissors were so inexpensive, it's understandable that they couldn't cut anything right out of the package. They couldn't even cut the paper that had been provided to them: /br>They were unable to open the Amazon box that I had received the following day. They appear to be on the verge of collapsing at any moment. The point where they're connected is sloppy and flimsy. At the very least, I reasoned, they're attractive. They aren't as pretty as they appear on your screen, though. They're a cheap plastic handle in an unappealing pink color. They're inexpensive, but they've only brought me sorrow. I'm sure their parents are extremely dissatisfied with their children.
This is an absolute must-have! It's well worth the money; it's not neon bright, but it's pink. I felt it was important to take a photo with natural lighting so you could see that they aren't too bright. As someone with autism, I am highly triggered by bright colors, the color red, and unusual patterns. They're great; they're sharp, but you won't cut your hand open with them. They were well worth the $7 because they were ergonomic, simple to use, and the perfect size. I spent a total of $ 00 on them. They're going to be around for a long time, which I adore. And, as a woman, I'm concerned about breast cancer, so I'm hoping the money goes to actual research. You should be concerned, as I'm sure many of us who are buying these are. And for those of us who live far away, Students in their first year of college need something to brighten their day now and then. They were ideal for the task at hand. I'd buy them again simply because I enjoy having them in my home. I'm thinking of getting a pair of baby blue socks for my mother to put in her stocking. They're perfect stocking stuffers for any young lady, woman, or pink lover in your life if you keep the packaging on; they're an absolute must-have for me, and I strongly recommend them to everyone. Boys, too. Best wishes, and have fun! xoxo.
For Breast Awareness Month, they're a great pair of pink scissors with a pink ribbon on them. I bought it because I needed pink scissors to match my home office decor, and it did not disappoint. I originally mistook them for light pink, but I still adore them. They're razor-sharp and make a good cut.
This is one of my favorite Westcott scissors, but it falls short. First, I wanted them to be a pale pink color like in the photos, but they are a much darker shade of pink. In addition, the handle is extremely uncomfortable. It has a stiff and cheap feel to it. For projects that require a lot of cutting, these are not the scissors to use.
Color is a lot of fun. For cutting, this is an excellent pair of scissors. The price was excellent, and I would strongly recommend it!.
Definitely not up to par with my expectations in terms of quality. I was expecting them to be a little more robust. They appear to be significantly less expensive than I anticipated. I'll keep them because they're still useful.
