The Singer Bundle has so far exceeded my expectations. Fiskars has been my go-to brand for everything except cloth. The Bundle works just as well on cloth as Fiskars does on paper and other materials.
On this bundle, there are no restrictions on the left or right sides of the scissors. There are none at all. I'm right-handed, and my wife is left-handed, and neither of us has had any issues using these three scissors for our respective projects. Take advantage of those instruments' adaptability and sharpness.
My order arrived today, and the color is turquoise. When I bought them at a local retail store a few years ago, they were available in pink. Yesterday, I was shopping at a local fabric store and noticed that they had both pink and turquoise Singer professional series scissors for sale. The blades are razor-sharp, allowing for precise fabric cutting. I would strongly suggest it.
No, there are no blade covers included with these.

The two pairs of scissors that come with this set are of excellent quality and are very comfortable to use. Unfortunately, the thread snips broke during light use, and the spring (which is under tension) popped through the plastic and injured my hand; instead of relying on the cheap plastic, they should probably add a metal track to the internals of the snips to hold the spring.
Isn't that what it is? Scissors? Who thinks it's necessary to go over it again? br>However, I'm not sure if my fabric scissors were in such bad shape to begin with, or if these are simply that much better. Cut through the fabric like butter with a hot knife. I have this strange habit of only cutting in "the sweet spot," which is roughly the center of the scissor blades for me. These scissors, on the other hand, have a smooth blade that cuts through everything. It's completely transformed my sewing game, and I adore the snips.
Without these scissors, I'm not sure how I could have completed any sewing projects. They're razor-sharp, and the thread snips are incredible once you figure out how to use them. Great scissors, and the Amazon price is better than any I've seen in stores!.
The snips, particularly the small pair of scissors, are particularly appealing to me. The small scissors have small points and are razor sharp, which is exactly what I need for my doll clothing projects. The larger scissors are a little disappointing; they are stiff, and I can't loosen the blade-holding screw because there isn't one, and the blade tips are thick.
I had only opened the box for an hour when I noticed that the thread snips were not working properly. I was looking for a safety release because the blades were "catching" at one point. When I couldn't find any, I realized I could work the blades the rest of the way if I held them apart a little. The screw heads, I discovered, had tiny irregularities that caused them to stick up a little. I had to hone the screw heads and clean up the blades themselves to get them to work smoothly. The problem was ultimately caused by a minor flaw in the blade; I'm not sure how good the screws were. If you disassemble these yourself, be careful because a spring will try to pop out during the process. br>br>After all of this, all of the scissors appear to be in excellent working order.
I sew - a monogram I've gone through a lot of scissors trying to find the ones I like, and I'll never buy another!.
These were purchased as a gift for my mother. I own a pair of snips and adore them, so I knew she'd appreciate a pair as well. She could have also benefited from a new pair of small and large scissors (who knows how long she's been using her old ones!). A set is an excellent purchase.
Keep in mind that these scissors are designed to cut fabric. Having said that, I was a little concerned about how these were made. the level of quality Singer is known for its high-quality scissors, but these aren't them. On the other hand - It's been a long time since I've done something like that. They appear to be suitable for the purpose stated in the description. Overall, it was a good investment.
