Questions & Answers
These are made for cutting paper and cardboard, and the length is ideal for cutting pictures.
These scissors are not suitable for any purpose. They can cut soft plastic, but if you're not careful, they'll pinch your hand at the base of your thumb.
The sheets aren't sticking to the scissors. They cut super sticky tape without sticking, so I'm confident they could cut laminated sheets without sticking as well.
No, it doesn't, dear. It's made of TPE, a soft and environmentally friendly material.

Over the years, I've grown accustomed to poor-performing scissors. I put it down to user error because I suffer from severe arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. I paid $30 for two pairs of scissors that were supposed to have lifetime warranties, but the plastic hinges broke and the warranty was voided- After that, I purchased these scissors, and everything was back to normal. They have a buttery smoothness to them. I just finished wrapping all of my Christmas presents, and it was a lot of fun thanks to these fantastic scissors. Cutting wrapping paper was not difficult, and my hands were not aching at the end. If you're looking for a good pair of scissors, these are the ones to get. It was an investment that paid off handsomely.
They are attractive, comfortable in the hand, and provide a clean cut with minimal effort; I am pleased with my purchase and would buy it again.
We bought these for the holidays and used them to wrap, open, and put together gifts. When cutting wrapping paper and the scissors glide straight across without having to press down on the handle at all, it's a special feeling, and these scissors delivered! When I used them, there were no snags or strange cuts! They were also extremely useful for slicing through the titanium cardboard that was encasing many of our daughter's toys. Oh, and we've used them to simultaneously cut the stems of five sunflowers--the large, tall sunflowers that tower over all other flowers in the field! We highly recommend these scissors; they are an excellent value for money!.
1. br>br> I frequently cut open packages (from Amazon), and I needed scissors that wouldn't get sticky glue from tape stuck to them.
2. I needed a standard size that was neither too big nor too small. br>br>I have a large hand and was looking for larger scissors at first, but it occurred to me that whenever I've had the choice between two different sizes of scissors in the past, I've always chosen the smaller set because they're easier to manipulate. These scissors are a perfect fit in my hand, and the red part is nice and soft, making it easy to hold. The blades are extremely sharp, and they slice through paper with ease. Very good quality.
made. We used these for wrapping paper right out of the box, and they tore the paper, whereas our other scissors sliced through it with barely any actual scissoring. They aren't nearly as sharp as any other pair I've ever owned. br>br>As you can see in the photo, the coating is peeling away in some places, and I expect it to rub off quickly. That is, I believe, non-negotiable. I've tried a few different tapes and haven't noticed any difference. br>br>There's also a tab that appears to be meant to go under the plastic handle, but it's bending and jamming them up. br>br>The red in the handles is a little more salmon or pink than I expected, and there's a lot of plastic flashing that we had to cut away with a hobby knife. br>br>Overall, I'm afraid I can't recommend them - Not the black "titanium" ones, at least.
These scissors are outstanding- The price is very good, and it is light weight but strong. I use one as a poultry shears in the kitchen. With ease, it passes through joints and small bones. The other can be found in my craft box- It effortlessly slashes through thick paper and floral wire. These scissors are great, and they came quickly.
My first attempt at cutting wrapping paper for gifts resulted in the paper tearing - I had no choice but to revert to my old scissors, which effortlessly sliced through the same paper. In the future, I will buy Fiskars or another well-known brand - I had high hopes for these alternatives, but they disappointed me, so I returned them.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I did want a good product, and this pair met my requirements. They have a good cutting edge and are sharp. I'm going to use it mostly for ribbon and paper, and so far it hasn't let me down!.
