Using a heat press allows them to adhere very well. You should be able to use it as long as you have a good iron.
The material for blue jeans is cotton
Patches that work with this material should work on any material that is thick. Patches like these will not stick to thin fabrics like silk or Jersey. Thank you. I hope this was helpful.
In order for these patches to stick to your fabric, they need a high amount of heat. It is imperative that you read the label on your begging label about how to iron

It was very easy to apply these. Furthermore, I ironed the glue side out after placing them inside. She was able to wear her jeans to school once I patched the "shreaded" holes in them. I was able to use it without a hitch. Voici a tip Make sure the patch doesn't stick to anything else by putting parchment paper under it. Due to how the glue actually spread out through the threads in the holes, it looks sort of glittery, and my daughter was very happy with it. If you want a strong bond, make sure to iron both sides. For a 30 second ironing on high, no water, pressing down slightly and moving the iron very slowly, make sure the edges are very good so the paper does not.
A message from company's owner encouraged questions, so I sent an email asking about the use of the iron. A hole in a cashmere sweater can be patched with the patch provided. In a timely manner, I received instructions providing additional details. It wasn't something to throw away, but a favorite sweater was saved from landfill thanks to the patch that would work like magic on fine wool fabric. I am very satisfied with the product and the customer service.
With the price you paid, I don't know what complaints you could make. I have only used it on an old pair of office work pants I use for chores at the moment. I tore the ligament in my knee due to a weak point. The product was also used on a pair of thick cotton "over socks", which I wore through the toe and heel. I have no problems with either repair. Both seem to be holding up nicely. Though they are a bit stiff and slippery at first, but softened.
The fabric is not the Fabric is not at all present. These thin patches are made of plastic with faux felt on one side. Even after washing multiple times, they are still stiff and uncomfortable to wear. After a few washes, the exposed adhesive will disappear from the inside. This mixture can be applied inside to mend a tear. There is no longer any sticky residue on the exposed side, but the exposed side has a mixture of white and black It would have been a better buy to get something from a fabric store.
My thighs wear out so easily after wearing jeans for only a few years, and the fact that they are so short has been driving me nuts This is obviously a mistake, as the rest of the pant is still fine but this is no longer a problem. As a preventative and a repair measure, I've tried these out so far with excellent results. It's easy to sew them on and they stay tightly in place (although I did stitch the corners It seems overkill, but I don't agree with you I've found that the edges bond with the pants really nicely) and actually even make the pants feel better while wearing them as well as more than doubling their life expectancy. The rest of my trousers will be done with my second batch, which I ordered in light colors!.
Since I work in construction, my pants get a lot of wear. It was my hope that these patches would keep my pants looking new for longer. It took them only one cycle of washing to get the clothes clean. There have already been some that have We have trouble sticking the corners from the moment I ironed them on. The adhesive isn't very effective. Using your time and money in this manner is a complete waste. Normally, I would return them at once, but being the optimistic person that I am, I ended up wearing them all together, so I now have about five pairs of pants with peeling crusty These are not something I would recommend.
At work, the back of my back pocket will catch on my seat and a hole will form near the buttocks. My pants were repaired, and I will be able to use them for.
A pair of expensive work pants I previously wore through the knees was bought to try to save them. In addition to ironing the patches on the inside of the knees that had been worn all the way through, I also ironed the patches on the other knees to prevent future damage. As a result, the holes haven't enlarged and my knees remain dirt and gravel free. I made four patches and they have worked perfectly. The shoes have been washed a lot and are still holding up well.
