Questions & Answers

I understand that the 2" tape maker will give me a 2" wide SINGLE fold and a 1" wide DOUBLE fold, am I ?

The width of your fabric tape maker should be as wide as your fabric tape! If you are cutting 50mm wide 2", then cut 4" of fabric, so that you can make 2" single fold bias tape Cut two inches of fabric for the 25mm 1" bias tape in order to make one inch single fold or 1/2 inch double fold bias tape.

The fabric is marine grade sunbrella. Can I use it?

I can't make head or tail of my own, I don't use mine

The width of the tape is how wide, when the tape is folded and fully sewed?

On either side of the work, it creates a border of 1 inch wide.

How does it work with stretch fabrics?

Perhaps it would depend on what type of fabric is used. The answer would be no if you are talking about spandex, lycra or something like that. If you are talking about jersey knit, maybe. As to whether you could fold whatever you use when ironed, that would depend on how well it holds a fold.

I love this bias tape maker because it's so honest! A review of the 2" bias tape maker is presented here
5/5

It takes a little getting used to, but I'm very pleased with the product! I believe it is one of the rare tools that fulfill just what it is advertised My goal was to make reusable grocery bags so I bought this 2" bias tape maker. It is a perfect product for that purpose. It does not matter if the cloth you feed into the tape maker is cut on the bias or not, this little guy does a great job When making bias tape, it is important to cut the strip into an angle to make it easier to feed into the machine (this is true of all bias tape producers).

I am amazed! If you sew, this is an excellent product for you
5/5

Recent crafts have included purses with fabric handles that I have been making. My task of folding and pressing had been handled completely by hand, which takes a lot of time and effort. I discovered the 2-hour rule when it was first released My favorite part of getting this bias tape maker is that it is an inch wide. I have been blown away by everything! Those fabric handles are now easy to make for me, which makes me very happy. A very high standard of quality is achieved. If you are looking for a multifunctional fabric, or if you need a bag for purses or for aprons, then treat yourself to this product Strip of fabric folded in thirds. Once the final fold is in place to hide all raw edges, the final product is very clean and offers.

This is incredible! My professional background is in sewing and I have been doing so That tool is actually available! I never knew such a thing existed

There seemed to be no truth in what was being said. The only review I have ever written is on Amazon. It is true. There's something here to be proud of. You should check it out if you love According to the description, it works perfectly. This material will be used for a costume that needs nearly 200 feet. We'll have no trouble getting things done.

It is a truly fantastic product! There is nothing like this bias tape maker that makes 2" tape
5/5

As far as quilt making goes, I am a very simple person - I don't create masterpieces. My only problem was that I made two simple quilts that I didn't want to have batting in, so I used a weird fabric for the batting that was In a nutshell, I made them like a pillowcase and sewed them all around, then turned them right side out, and there was no problem. I told her I would tie them and bias-cut the backing because it was really hard to work with Rather than tape bind them, they were bound by tape. This was very easy to use and I plan to get smaller sizes in the future so I can use pre-cuts Cut some strips to make tape and dress up some old shirts. It's possible that ribbons would also I can't wait to check out all the possibilities!.

A great place to stash sewing items

While I do not have problems using these, I'm aware that a new sewer may have to take a little practice to utilize them properly, but it is well worth the effort. You can find a lot of videos on their use on YouTube. I've had a few smaller ones for about 15 years and they're still going strong. Since it was so hard to find one of this size on Amazon, I was happy to discover it. There are times when it is nice to have material of the same type. I think that it looks better than what is available in stores. Made in Japan, this Clover is true to the original.

This is worth its weight in gold

It is standard on all the nicer blankets to use the 2 inch binding. A little material, an iron, and this is all you need to make one. Our guaranteed color guarantee ensures that you will get exactly what you want. This little tool gives you a professional finish with razor sharp edges. You can create your own, but this will give you a professional finish. The machine is not designed for use with heavy fleeces or corduroys. In my experience, the canvas I've been using for the diaper bags and totes is not a problem. As a closure tab maker and cord cover maker, I use it to make a number of cord covers and tabs. A couple of my granddaughters got into the pond when we visited and caused quite a bit of destruction. After their mom bathed them, I took two sheets from the linen closet, cut them into sundresses, and made them before they got out of the bath. The girls said that the dresses I made would be more comfortable than the clothes they had just dried. In addition to the one inch, I have the other. The software is useful when used for the purpose It seems that two inches are so much more versatile than one inch. This information has been on my mind for a long time. Having access to Amazon means I can get what I need whenever I need it.

I would suggest some tweaks to make this work better
4/5

Since I still love my smaller bias tape makers, I was thrilled to find this 2" one, however, it is more finicky than other ones I've usually seen. It was mentioned that you should cut your fabric 3 times It was 7/8" wide but this caused the bias tape maker to make a large wrinkle in the middle when it was ironed. The problem had to be fixed by hand, which was frustrating. To become 3-inches wide, I reduced the size of my font I cut it down to 3/4" and it seems to have worked. consider the smaller tape makers to be easier to use, but I think that this is still preferable to hand-taping everything.

I found it finicky, but I was able to complete my task
4/5

After months of not making bias tape, I finally made two inch The tape maker worked fine. It was a bit finicky than the smaller tape makers I have used, so I had to hand-hold the fabric as it was coming out to prevent The attached photo shows the bias tape bow I made while using this bias tape maker. I am not sure if it was caused by the manufacturer's design or if that is common when making tape this wide. Nevertheless, it was better to use this machine than to have done it by hand.
