Almost nothing was cutting paper before I changed the blade to some replacement blades I purchased elsewhere, but the bias tape making set was great and easy to use, but the rotary cutter (for which I purchased it) was so dull I couldn't use it. My experience changing the blade of this rotary cutter was not as smooth or as easy as my previous experiences. This is a really cheaply made product.
Since it was a little difficult to launch the feed, I went with a 4 instead of a 5. It feeds nicely once it is started, though, so add a half *. That leaves us with three. I give this set 5 stars. The clips that come with it are nice and the measuring tape is sturdy yet solid because it isn't flimsy like some products. My singer is not perfect, and I had a bit of a problem getting on, but with time it will work. Despite that, I managed to pull it off. For the value you receive, this is an excellent deal! Here are a couple of examples.
This comes with everything you need to do perfect binding every time it comes with the binding foot, which makes it easy, as well as a nice plastic container that keeps everything neat and tidy. Besides the rotary cutter, I also got an electrical adapter as a gift. If you enjoy sewing, I highly recommend you pick up this item.
Bias tape is easy to make when you have all the sizes and items you need. Fabrics thicker than 15 centimeters can be soaked in it, but thinner fabrics would not be able to be soaked. I would like it if the system would also accept thicker fabrics.
I was able to get 3 out of 4 bias tapes to work. While the blue one is easier to use, the pink one is more challenging. A rotary cutter, on the other hand, was quite.
The pattern should provide directions on what fabric width is required to get a bias cut that is the correct size. Likewise, it is difficult to squeeze the end of the fabric as you pull it.
If there were instructions included, that would be beneficial. For each clip size, it should give you the width of the fabric strips you need. An attachment to a machine.
Exactly what I've been looking for. It was a lightning deal that I got. I will make my own bias tape with this kit. This is a very nice Cutting the paper is a basic rotary cutter with a release grip and blade locking system. This purchase has been very satisfying for me.
