Your choices will depend on the kind of fabric you are using as well as the function it has. Tape is great for lighter fabrics if only a single layer is used. Usually a medium weight fabric like denim or upholstery should be used It would be necessary to have 3 or more layers. In the end, it all depends on what you want to do with it. Heavy fabrics are likely to fail more quickly due to wear and tear. The best uses of the tool are on things that don't lend themselves to sewing. Embroidery for details, costumes, and other items where the thread should not be visible. Hemming on a Halloween costume or ribbon on a costume are two examples. Here are a few The Roman shade is made of curtains. there is embroidery work you do not want your stitches to show When people ask me whether their fabric is a possibility, I tell them to test it out in a small area first. You have to be careful when dealing with synthetic fabrics. When the bottom piece of cloth starts to scorch or melt, it is sometimes best to place a second piece of cloth on top to prevent it. In order to melt the tape, there must be a fair amount of heat.
As for how well it works, I used it on curtains and they turned out to be amazing!

Singer is a brand I usually buy, but decided to try as well. This has a different texture than the Dritz brand. It was different weights of both brands that I purchased. As well as working equally, both of them were able to enjoy their work. I would like to mention that if you need a heavier weight, you can layer the fussing so you get a firm hold for heavy items. I have no problems with it. When all you need to do is layer, there is no need to spend more money on a heavier weight. I would recommend it for newbies as well. It is always a good idea to test the fabric before use. To determine how the fabric will react to high heat you need to understand its properties. You can test the fabric with scraps if you have them laying around. The addition of a thin piece of cloth on top of your material can sometimes be the difference between success and failure. Try different strategies to determine which ones work.
I appreciate the fact that it works on scrubs bottoms. I used two pairs of scrubs bottoms and felt like I was looking brand new for days. I have washed all of my pants several times to ensure that the product stays on. But I can understand how too much heat would weaken the adhesive. However, the application process is so simple that I do not anticipate that it will be difficult to reapply.
I really like this tape. Easily hem the pants of your kids and as they grow, you can pull off the tape, make the pants longer, then tape them back up when the pants are the right length. Hand sewing was what I used to do. However, that no longer needs to be done since the tape is here.
I noticed the seamstress used this tape and charged me $10 for a 5 minute fix when I brought my last pair in for repair. The tape should last forever and I have already saved a pair of pants with it. You can wash it and wear it again and again.
With my iron and this curtain hem tape, I hemmed 4 pairs of curtains in my house in a matter of minutes. I had to use more than one strip for one hem in some cases because the fabric was narrow and Even so, I am delighted I didn't have to sew for hours and ended with drapes that now look much better rather than hours spent sewing.
I think it's great. What a great idea! The thin but strong metal is very have used it to repair a few sweaters and I was surprised at how well it works! It was as though the holes simply vanished, and I also had trouble seeing the web. In order to hem my jeans with it, I used I held on to it. Web that is the best fusible you've ever seen.
I gave it two stars instead of one because you were doing something incorrectly. It took me about an hour and a half to fix a very small hole in a t-shirt We tried to apply it to the shirt but could not get it to stick. It may be something you'd find useful. I think it's a good roll for that price if you are used to using this kind of roll.
I am very pleased with it. To solve the problem of having to pull out my sewing machine for sometimes easy fixes, this app was a godsend! As a result, he shrank some of his favorite pants (length wise) so we were able to make While I am not yet sure how well it will hold up in some washes, it will be easy to fix if that issue occurs. I lost the hem on my work pants as well. This time it is easy to fix. Just an iron, some patience, and a few minutes is all you need.
