The question is difficult for me to understand. If you want to place a hem on curtains tape, what purpose would that serve? To create a pleated drape, you normally enclose the tape in the fabric
I ended up sewing the pleats by myself, after watching a video tutorial on YouTube, since the "tape" was too heavy for my project.

I liked the fact that I could buy such a large amount at an affordable price. The curtains have a wonderful look and I was easily able to My hooks are far enough out to not show through the curtain, but they extend a bit out of the When the light is coming through, the same width hem gives it a balanced look, making a nice curtain top.
This machine was designed to make pleats, but that was not what I needed. The whole thing worked even though I stitched part of it upside down.
Adding pleats to your curtains quickly and easily without sewing individual pleats is a great idea. It allows you to adjust how you put in your hooks in order to adjust the size of the pleats after it is attached. For an older curtain, I used this to pleat it as well as to use rings.

A wider weave and some stretching occurred during sewing resulted in the curtains having a wider size. It still looks great and I would recommend it!.
