In both cases they are identical, but the wonder tape has never stuck to the fabric well or stayed on it. Hotop has been very useful to me for a long time I will continue to buy it. I have gotten rolls that were only sticky on one side.
I need help. The purpose is to hold fabric, zippers, and appliqués, etc., in place while final sewing is done, then to wash it out afterwards. In either case, I do not know what would happen if you ironed it, but I suspect you would end up with adhesive on your iron and on your project. Plus, I'm not sure if it would wash out after you ironed it. Several versions are available of this product, including one that is fusible, and is ironed into place and becomes a permanent part of sewed items. It might help if you read this.
I don't think it is. This tape is great for putting in zippers or lining up plaids, etc. I really like it.
Despite what some people believe, needles do not gum up. When sprayed with water, it dissolves.

It has been purchased twice by me. The first time I bought it, it was as shown in the picture It was a white, almost porous tape that went on well, stuck as it should while I stitched, and wiped away cleanly after I soaked it at the end. A plastic roll was on the center of the roll. My second purchase of the product came in a cardboard roll with Asian lettering on it. There was no porous component, and the product was clear, more "firm"/less flexible, and more sticky. As a result, it gums needles very quickly, but most importantly, it DOES NOT WASH AWAY from sewn clothes. After a couple of messages with the seller, I am not receiving a refund because the seller refused to refund my money. My project is basically ruined, as you can see sticky tape running along the hems if the seams weren't perfect. The good news is that Amazon has excellent customer service. So, in short, buy a different product from a seller that does not try to sell you things not shown.
It's too bad I can't give it a 0 star rating. There is no such thing as described here. I get mine from a different company and it gets stuck in my machine, unlike the wash away tape I normally get from another There are Asian writings all over the cardboard of this one, but I don't care if it works. There is no such thing. Naturally, you can't get a refund for it. I'm now on my way to buy one in person.
Since I enjoy sewing in my spare time, I bought it to help keep my hems straight. My tape roll was 22 yards of 1/4 inch tape on each of the two rolls. As you can see in this pic, I had to move the tape not once, but three times before I could finally secure my top hem to Although the adhesive kept sticking even after moving it around, it is very pleasing that it did not lose tensile strength. I was able to peel off the tape without much difficulty and got the peel away backing started without a fight. It fastens well and washes away easily, which is something I can never say enough about. These are great bargains for seamstresses and quilters alike! Definitely a keeper and I plan to buy.
Two times as much and half the price of the better known brand. I haven't tried washing anything yet, but I did rinse a test piece with water to ensure it had rinsed out. The answer is yes. There's almost something more enticing on this generic product than it is on the wonder tape the protective layer is even easier to peel off. It's hard not to love it, is it not?.
The difference is a quarter inch at most. It has a paper backing that can be difficult to remove. However, the product works fine. The stuff really sticks to your fingers when you get glue residue on them. However, that's not the case The glue did not adhere to the needle of my sewing machine. I have both ironed and left the iron on. A very light fabric was used for this project. An effort to transform a shower curtain made of mildew-resistant materials. I'd recommend using glue sticks since they work a lot better but take longer to apply. I glued my seam with a glue stick and it looked like a factory seam. With the tape, the seam was a bit too wide. Maybe this project would have been better if 1/4 inch instead of 1/2 inch was used. 3/8 inch is what I am looking for. If, however, you are using it for cotton, and not pressing it with an iron, but rather using your fingers, then you need to purchase If your materials take low heat, do not fold or crease well, and help you avoid having to pin or clip everything, this is your best option. In addition to clips, I still used binders. I used pins to make the better seam with glue. We can't know for certain. The system works, however. A sticky situation. Despite this, it is only a quarter inch wide and it is very difficult to tear. In the event that the strip you want to use twists, good luck.
What it says on the tape is actually what it does. It was knit fabric that I was trying to sew. As a result, the tape kept it from bunching up, so I did not have to use anything. As long as my machine is running, it sews right through it, did not clog my needle, and it washes completely It would have been very easy for me to give this five stars, but the packaging is terrible. Despite the great packaging on the outside, the rolls inside were shattered. In addition, the paper isn't all on the same side of the tape, and the tape switches sides. There is only one issue that is not purely cosmetic, and that is the biggest complaint. While I can still use it, where the tape is on the outside of the roll or paper now, it sticks to everything and is more of a waste of time.
It was cleaned with alcohol wipes before I put it on the wall. On the second side, I put on the trim I made for the shade frame out of pvc wood. You should let it set for several hours before you make any further adjustments. It's been twice that I've used this, and nothing has come apart. One word of caution, however, the velcro part of the tape is about 1/2 inch wide, while the actual tape is around 3/4 inch wide. I didn't like how the vecro does not run all the way across the side. It did work, though. There is no reason to give 5 stars, so 4 stars is enough.
Otherwise your iron will get smeared. I use this tape to baste seams before I sew them with a sewing machine. Pinning is so much harder than it needs to be. When you need to sew narrow seams or if you need to stitch together small items, this tool is extremely helpful. As I was making a bra, I used it to hold bra fasteners in place. I did not have to clean my needle once I used this product. Although the smell is a little strong, I only use a tiny amount at any given time. It looks like only one roll is in the bag, but before complaining, check it out. One roll of toilet paper was stuck to another!.
