Because both sides are sticky, I'm not sure how well this would work in the garden. Because the seeds are on one side, you must remove a piece of white paper to reveal the other sticky side, which isn't very stable. The sticky adheres beautifully to fabric or paper, making it ideal for sewing. Unless you use something like tissue paper, which dissolves. br>I hope that this information is useful. Victoria
Hello. This project is one of my favorites, but I've only used it on Celtic quilts so far. I believe the paper will be fine for your organza project once it has been removed from the clear tape.
Yes, I believe that is correct. I used it instead of pins on a ruffled knit and it worked beautifully. There is no bunching or slipping, which can occur when pinning. It isn't sticky at all. It's probably about as sticky as masking tape, so if you didn't (or couldn't) wash your fabric, I believe you could peel it away after sewing.
No, you'll have to sew it together. I once applied a small label to a T-shirt. This was done at night, and the shirt was just to show how it would look when finished. The label was nearly sold out the next day.

Because I was impatient, I became frustrated with this product at first. I wanted to put it in place, rip off the backing, and fold my fabric over onto the new sticky side like it was double-sided tape. sided tape on paper, but that didn't work out because the slightly sticky first side needs time to really stick before the backing peels away. Before it worked, I had to lean on it for about a minute.
For ten yards, I paid around $7. Once one side of tape was connected to the material, it was extremely difficult to separate the cover. Everyone advised me to use the tape because it was my first time making swim shorts. It was beneficial, but it was difficult to use. I used my clips to hold the tape down after it started pealing off after I applied it. I used my clips even after adding the second piece of material because it stuck a little better. The protective film could only be removed by first removing the sticky end and then peeling it away. For only $8, I found a different brand that is more than twice as long. When I've had a chance to use it, I'll write a review. The tape, by the way, has an odor. And the new stuff smells a lot better.
I was hoping for a new way to keep the underside in place while I stitched on top instead of using clips and pins. I put it to immediate use before sewing through it; After you've stuck it, there's no need to wait. It simply shifts far too much. Everything became jumbled as a result. Half of it needed to be fixed again. It would have been better if I had tested it on scraps first, because it does wash away completely. This product may be useful in reducing the number of pins used, but I don't believe it is worth the money. It's not something I'd advise you to do.
I've been frantically putting zippers in places- it was done on purpose This is fantastic! Don't get me wrong, it works on other things as well. But ZIPPERS! I've made bags, wallets, and other accessories, but never ZIPPERS! It's a brave new world we've stepped into. Place the tape on the garment, position the zipper in the center, and sew it in place. There's no basting, no basting removal, and it's mostly repositionable if you make a mistake with the first "centering" attempt. It washes out completely as well. The name "Wonder Tape" is a good one.
I tried all of the double-sided tapes and had issues with them all. They either didn't stick at all or stuck to your fingers to the point where you couldn't get them to stay put. This item is in the middle of the pack. I had no trouble removing the backing as long as I pressed down hard on the end I was trying to begin with; it does not clog the needle and the sticky disappears after the first wash. Awesome!.
First and foremost, I must state that I own an older sewing machine, and that I purchased this product in order to make sewing a zipper pocket a breeze. As a result, the feed dog became clogged, and the needle came to a halt. Around the zipper, I had to hand sew. Before I could sew again, I needed to clean the feed dog gears and the needle. I do have a newer machine, but I'm hesitant to try it on it for fear of the same thing happening again. My recommendation is to borrow some from a friend, and if it gums up your machine, use an electronic wipe to ungum it.
I open the package and feel around for the tape's beginning. Because there are none, I must begin the tape with a knife. After that, I peel off both sides and there's no sticky residue left. By the way, there are no instructions included with the tape, so you'll have to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how to use it. Anyway, since I opened it, I won't be able to return it, but I'll give it another try. I'm hoping the roll isn't completely dry. This roll, on the other hand, was a complete squander of funds.
This tape is absolutely fantastic! I'm glad I found out about it because it's a fantastic product. I cut a strip of fabric that matches my fabric, lay it down, fold my fabric over it, and sew it. And there you have it: a flawless seam. It's difficult to get crisp folds/edges on light or less sturdy fabrics, but this is simple and doesn't require the use of an overlocking foot. It saves my fabric and provides me with peace of mind. After two cold or one hot wash, the stain is gone. It was well worth the money!.
