Questions & Answers
You are not clear about what you want. In the finished product, the width is 1/2 inch, but the thickness is around 1/8 inch because it's double folded. Please accept this as my sincere apology.
There is no stretch to this.
There is not enough room for towels with a 1/2" width. Double-fold bias tape is wide enough, but not too wide.
A half-inch double fold is nominated.

Let's not waste our time on this! An envelope was jammed with the binding. There were wrinkles and tangles on the document when it was delivered. The white material I usually use for binding wasn't available on the day I needed it. had a project going on and only needed a few yards to complete the project. This seemed perfect for my project and I would have plenty to use for my next one. But the binding folds are uneven so it looks terrible on my project. It does not measure 1 inch, but 1 1/8, so it was It is thin and limp compared to how it should be. As a result, I wasted my money. I couldn't use it to support my project. My only option is to find the material or binding in another place. This is one you can skip, which will save you a lot of frustrations! If you need a bias/piping machine, one could build their own or buy one from an established, time-tested manufacturer.
Neither the width nor the length of the strip are consistent. Where it is measured, it is half an inch where it is 3/4 an inch. The fabric remnants that you can see in the pictures are stained, which leads me to believe someone made their own bias tape by recycling them. The smell of cigarettes is strong, and the feel is rough. Cleanliness is lacking. It appears that someone sprayed low-quality laundry starch heavily on it. There is no need to buy from someone Be careful not to make the same mistake that I did.
It was not what I expected to be one continuous length of fabric. About 30 inches in, I found the taped together piece. As a result, this was a waste to me since I'm using it to fasten mask straps. As far as I have found, there are no other taped spots, but I have not searched the whole room. In addition, the price is a bit high.
It's great that I am able to bind a large piece of fabric all at once. I'm so tired of sewing small scraps together to use them up or worse patching 3 yd lengths together to get one long enough to go around a quilt. Buying 'bulk' like this will save a lot of time. This binding is very nice in quality. I have heard complaints about a large manufacturer decreasing their quality after moving their factory, so I am glad to have another.
It was great to find the bias tape roll! Christmas pot holders were made for 32 people. I bought red, beige and white. I will definitely buy this again.
Baby bunting was used to make it. Tuck the tops of the felt triangles into the edge of the fabric and sew along it.
I was not too bothered by the fact that it does not come in a big spool as shown, but rather a big coil. Please see the photo I attached that shows what I got.
To insert the wire nose bar, cut four inch strips of this material and insert them inside the masks. It appears the ends are not fraying in the wash because of the perfect width. It's very easy and fast to do this step for making masks. I'll be ordering more of this.
