Is it true that they are fire-resistant?

This product is combustible but does not burn. It is not, however, by definition "flame retardant." having the ability to slow or stop a fire from spreading.

Are they safe to wash and dry in the finished product? (The fabric I'm using is machine washable and dryer safe.) ?

Yes - In the finished product, the glass beads can be washed and dried.

Is it possible to put these in the microwave to warm them up?

Yes, you can microwave these; the beads will retain heat in the same way that a hot glass from the dishwasher would. It may stay warmer for longer depending on the fabric used to wrap it.

Is it better to use clear or green glass beads? They appear green in the photo with the coin, but white in the photo with the polyfil?

They are, at least in my case, crystal clear.

Great product that I bought to make a weighted blanket with

Unsure of the final product's appearance, but prefer not to use poly pellets, rice, or any other food product. Beads are micro in size, feel smooth to the touch, and appear to be uniform in size. Thought it might be too hot for summer use, but beads/blanket feels cool. Purchase was a success.

Weighted blankets benefit greatly from this material

Great product; I used it to make a weighted quilt and corn hole bean bags. Running your fingers through them is a lot of fun. Just be aware that they can find their way into almost any space.
