Questions & Answers

Are these the tiny beads that squish around when stuffed into a pillow?

This is a set of small plastic beads. Polystyrene microbeads are most likely what you're looking for. They're a lot more squishy and smaller.

How many bean bags will this one bag fill for corn hole bean bags?

Each regulation corn hole bag should weigh one pound, so this bag of Poly-Balls weighs in at one pound. There will be enough pellets to make two bean bags plus a little extra. Don't forget to factor in the fabric's weight when taking measurements.

What size pellets do you have?

It's about half the size of a BB.

Is there a way to wash a weighted blanket made out of this product?

The item can be washed. You should be able to wash it in the washing machine if the fabric is washable.

I couldn't find the volume of these anywhere on the web, so I measured them to post here
4/5

32 oz (1 lb) bag is a little over 6 1/2 cups br>A 32 oz (2 lb) bag is about 6 1/2 cups, while a 16 oz (1 lb) bag is about 3 1/4 cups. br>They aren't as heavy as I expected, so I had to add pebbles to the project for weight. volume. They are, in my opinion, overpriced for what they are, but they were the best option for the project I was working on.

Plastic Pellets of Outstanding Quality These are hard plastic pellets or flattened beads that are very small and white
5/5

They're heavy enough to bring an object down when used in large quantities. They could be used to add weight to the bottom of a stuffed animal to help it sit up straight. You could also stuff them into a beanbag toy. (I wouldn't use them for heat wraps because they're plastic and could melt in the microwave. ) I needed to make a weighted blanket for a class I'm planning to teach for parents of children with sensory issues. During my research, I discovered that Poly- Pellets are the best option for filling the blankets, so I tried them. I wasn't let down! br>br> br>br>A two-pronged approach br>br>a two-pronged approach br The pound bag doesn't contain a lot of pellets, but it was sufficient for the sample. I made a king-sized blanket. The good news is that the more you buy, the lower the per-pound price becomes. If you're going to make a lot of stuffed animals or weighted blankets, get the biggest bag of Polly-Wool. Pellets are easy to come by. br>br>Five stars, and highly recommended to anyone who makes children's stuffed toys or weighted blankets.

Make sure the package hasn't been tampered with! The small weighted beads are fine and exactly what I expected
3/5

The cardboard box had been punctured exactly where the beads were placed, which was a pleasant surprise. As a result of being bumped, dropped, moved, and so on, this tiny hole expanded, allowing a large portion of the beads to escape their original plastic bag, which was not particularly heavy to begin with. As a result, the box arrived taped along the bottom but with a large hole still open on the side, spilling beads all over the box and into the other parcels we'd ordered. I had to drag the box across the porch and into the living room because the tape on the top of the box was partially off, making it difficult for me to get it into the house. It's a complete disaster! I had beads impregnated in the outside door mat, the inside rug, all along the porch and steps, making it a tripping hazard (we are in our eighties), as well as the carpet and anything else it came into contact with. This was not how I wanted to spend my afternoon, especially since I had dinner guests arriving that evening and couldn't risk them tripping over plastic beads. br> While I don't hold the beads' manufacturer responsible, I believe the plastic could have been strengthened in some way. The shipping company is primarily to blame, as the hole should have been taped over as soon as it was discovered. The box did have a HEAVY label on it, indicating that I should empty it before lifting it. I guess this helped contain the beads a little, because I was able to lift the box and get it outside before the beads strewn across the kitchen floor. br> The beads are mine to keep. It's not worth the effort of tracking down a small box and returning it, but I would advise others to check for holes in the bag before opening it. These are a little smaller than the ones I had before, but I'm confident they'll fill the toys I'm currently making for my kids. Casper, Wyoming br>Cynthia Henriebr>.

Crafts will love it
5/5

I made an I Spy bag for a small child out of these. The majority of the pellets were taken by my large bag. The end result was fantastic. Just be careful not to lose those tiny pellets. To round them up, they're a pain!.

The bag is small in size
3/5

I have no complaints about the item or its quality, and they arrived on time. My only complaint is that the quantity and size of the bag is small, so if you need them for a large project, they will be ineffective and expensive because you will have to buy multiple bags to get what you need.

They were ideal for my project of making I Spy bags for kids, and they performed admirably

The poly- Pellets aid in the concealment of items within a fabric pouch, allowing children to hunt for them.
