I've only used it on pillows and stuffed animals, and it seems to work fine. If the couch is going to be used frequently, upholstery foam would be a better choice. The foam can flatten out and lose its loft after a while.
Yes, dolls, pillows, and stuffed animals can all be used with it. I've even used it to give old cushions a new lease on life.
Probably between 8 and 10 years old. The box's fill expands to nearly double its original size. When unloaded from the box, the bag expands to about 4 feet tall and 30 inches in diameter, as shown in the photo.

For a comfortable 4, I used the entire box. 5' x 4. 5' x 5' x 5' x 5' x 5' Suggestion: Instead of opening the box, cut a 6" diameter hole in the side and slice open the bag inside; that way, you can simply reach in and pull out what you need without having to use a poly-bag. explosion of fil.
fil, in the hopes of reviving our sectional sofa with pillow backs. The box arrived today, and I spent about 30 minutes filling the 9 pillow backs, pushing the fill into corners, and re-filling the pillow backs in general. plumping each (I realized halfway through that I should have taken a before photo, so the B/A photo only shows part of the sofa). I didn't remove the existing filling because it was fine except for being squished from years of use, and I still used the entire 10-pound box. It was simple to fill them, and it was enjoyable to transform our dingy sofa into one that looks almost new again. Added benefit - Despite the fact that the filling was fluffy and easy to tear apart, it was not at all messy. After that, there's no need to vacuum or dust. br>br>I paid $20 for a box of fill a few days ago (November 2015) with free Prime shipping. Today, the same item costs nearly twice as much, plus shipping costs of over ten dollars. Keep that in mind at all times. It's possible that the price will vary a lot from one seller to the next. br>br>As long as the cushions are fillable (look for a zipper on the bottom or back), I highly recommend this for a sofa with a cushioned back. I don't think it would work as well for the seat cushions, which are usually filled with large wedges of foam and batting to keep their shape.
This box has a footprint of 15" x 16" and stands 19" tall. I recommend only cutting one of the flaps for a hole when opening it, because the stuffing will expand to twice its original height as soon as the inside bag is opened.
I wish I'd thought of getting a box of this five years ago! The stuffing is far superior to what was in the cushions when they were first purchased. I'm very pleased with this product; I had read reviews and assumed I'd need a ten-pound box for my two full-size couch back cusions, but I could have easily done it with a five-pound box. I also used the leftover fabric in some lovely, inexpensive pillow slip covers I bought on Amazon. You get a ten out of ten! M has given his approval! And it's not something I do on a regular basis.
This is a fantastic deal, and I plan to use it for a variety of projects. I'd rather buy a tenner once and use it for all of my projects than purchase smaller amounts as I go. I've had no problems with the quality, and I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if my review was helpful.
This product accomplished everything I had hoped for- Give some old furniture a new lease on life. I simply unzipped the sofa cushion and stuffed this poly-fill into it. under the square foam cushion that already exists I simply zipped it back up and sat down once it was sufficiently stuffed! It's very simple. br>br>You will also find photos of the before, during (half of the sofa stuffed), and after.
Because we live in a two-person, two-dog household, our once-new couch began to show signs of wear after only a few years. After raising two puppies, the back cushions are lumpy and sparse, the seat has a noticeable saggy void in the middle, and the skirt has rips. I used poly fill to fill the back cushions and throw pillows, quilt batting to firm up the seat cushions, and permanent fabric glue to repair the ripped skirt. With the addition of a few new throw pillows, it's almost as if I'd bought a new couch! I used up all of the quilt batting, but I have plenty of poly fill and glue for touch-ups in the future; I almost bought a new couch, but I'm glad I didn't! Our couch isn't perfect, but it's a big step forward and a lot more comfortable.
Unfortunately, that bed is against a wall, and she has hit the wall on occasion due to a miscalculation of her diving strength. I bought a zippered body pillow pillowcase and filled it with pillow filling for her safety. As a result, this purchase was made. br>br>* To begin with, the cost is very reasonable. Much less expensive than our local Michael's, which only carries much smaller bags of pillow stuffing. br>* The second point is that this box is enormous! I had no idea how big the box was until I saw it. It stands about 2 feet tall! The dimensions in the description were completely ignored by me. This is a substantial amount of filling. br>* Finally, the box is stuffed with stuffing. It's crammed in there, to say the least. As soon as you open the box, the stuffing begins to expand. That's the amount of stuff crammed into the box. Finally, it's extremely soft and comfortable. It's a high-quality fiber that's smooth and soft to the touch. In the body pillow, it's fantastic. It also didn't have many stray fibers, so it wasn't too difficult to work with. br>br>We had so much fiber left over that we used it to stuff our dog's bed and all of the house's throw pillows. There is still a lot of it left. br>br>This was a fantastic buy at a great price. It was also extremely convenient to have it delivered to my front door in just a few days!.
