Questions & Answers

Do you have any experience using this product to fix the wrong side of a crochet piece when tied to a yarn end? I appreciate it! ?

As long as this product is anything like Fray Check, which uses nylon to coat the fiber it's applied to, I do not believe that it will produce the results you want. It is most likely that weaving the ends in will give you the most invisible look because the yarn tails will hang off the back of the There are some situations in which you may be able to avoid tails by doing things such as the Russian join or braided join.

Are there any tips you can suggest for socks made from wool to prevent fraying around the inside seams?

In this case, I would pink the edges before using a fray stop, so long as there's enough there to do that.

It is safe to use on synthetic nylon found in window roller shades? Could this help me repair some blinds that are fraying at the ends?

I have not attempted to use it on any other material other than cotton, but I would give it a shot if I faced your frayed window roller shade. Whenever I have used it on fabric, I've laid the fabric on a table in the garage and sprayed it to the edge. If you tend to be affected by airborne aerosols, then take care with your surroundings and wear a mask when you're out. The above information should be helpful.

To prevent unraveling and shedding where the burlap runners were cut, I used this method to make the ones I made for my daughters' wedding picnic tables

I was pleased with the results
5/5

There was a cheap throw pillow that was made out of acrylic yarn that pilled and was fuzzy. Using a spray bottle, I sprayed the pillow all over. This appears to have worked to stop the fuzz and the color of my pillow did not change.

I love this product
4/5

It's awesome. As an alternative to hemming, I used this to seal the edges of 30 table runners for an event. This project took two days to complete. I spent two hours working inside my house, opening two windows for ventilation and wearing a mask to protect myself.

I bought this bargain yarn and I am happy with it
4/5

I liked it, but it started pilling after just one I was not happy with the outcome. In the past, I had only used Fray Check, which is also a great product. I apply the spray and then go ahead and do my work. Wash it after it has dried & after it has dried, put it away Pilling has ceased, or to a very small extent. The benefit of this product is that I can do double duty with my bargain yarns The pilling on my projects will not make me feel embarrassed. That's the kind of movie I highly recommend. I only have one complaint, and that is Unfortunately, it does not leave a stench on the fabric.

It takes Beats Sewing to complete an assignment
5/5

I think it works for the most part, but it doesn't seem to last as long as I expected. It is what I use to drape my chickens' nest boxes. The ends of my tapes already are fraying, and I have only had them My admission is that it is a difficult use. For what it is, it is quite expensive. It's still there. A sewing machine is better than a sewing machine.

Actually, I have not been able to figure out how this fray stopping system will work (long term)
5/5

It was impossible to open and close the trundle of the daybed because the skirting that covers it was far too You hold the material in your hand and it seems to have just melted. A rather large hole was created. realized that a "patch" was simply not going to Suddenly, it occurred to me I might be able to use glue to secure the paper. This seems to have at least slowed the deterioration so far. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Fabric appears to be stiffened by it
5/5

These are the third bottle I purchased (I've now purchased 3). I bought them in the hopes that these will help prevent the fabric leaves of my artificial outdoor plants from fraying, which is very common. It is too soon to comment on the long term results- The fraying will be prevented over time but I don't know how well it will work - However, I can state that this spray stiffened up the fabric of the artificial leaves quite nicely, even with the older ones - I believe that this spray will provide a longer lifespan for my outdoor artificial.

Raw denim lovers must have this

These are essential for people who wear raw, rigid, and expensive denim cuffs or who wear raw, rigid, and expensive denim Spray the product into the folds of your cuffs What does it matter if the smell of spray paint is strong? A pair of jeans is a very important purchase.
