At a weight of 1, this is considered medium weight. Our tearaway medium stabilizer for embroidery is ideal for stabilizing stitches with a light to medium density and is 8oz/yd in weight

There is no need to cut the stabilizer with scissors since the embroidery backing is tearaway. Which means it is quicker and safer to remove than stabilizers that are cutaway. You can easily tear away the excess thread by grabbing the excess close to the stitching

The tearaway embroidery stabilizer is made from strong natural and synthetic fibers and does a great job of holding a stitch while at the same time it's easy to tear away the excess backing.

You simply place the tear away stabilizer sheets on the underside of the garment that you plan Once the garment and backing are in the embroidery hoop, stitch the design on them. The piece is now ready for stitching.

I am very satisfied with the products. My experience is limited as a beginner "embroider" and I don't yet understand all the pros and cons of stabilizers. These work well, and I would buy again. I read up on the different kinds and names and picked these to try.
