My house exists in a dimension where scissors cannot exist indefinitely. One day, we'll have four pairs of scissors strategically placed around the house to make life easier when we need them. No scissors will be available next week. Anywhere. br>br>These are cheap enough that I don't get enraged when they inevitably shift into another phase of reality, color coded so I can assign each irresponsible human their own pair of scissors and deny them access to all other scissors, and sharp enough to cut anything that should be cut by middle schoolers and husbands. br>br>These are something I'll buy again. But not for at least a month, at the very least.
These scissors have made a big impression on me. They feel great in your hand and cut just as well as scissors that cost $10 or more. At the big box stores around here, they're 15 each. Only I got FOUR for less than ten dollars! They have a nice weight to them, and you can hear the blades lightly rubbing together as they should when you open and close them; there's no slack like you'd expect from scissors at this price. I put one in the kitchen junk drawer, one on the garage peg board, and two in my desk. I'll never look for scissors in the same way again! In terms of the packaging, which some people have complained about, I didn't find it particularly difficult to open. The packaging is made of a thin plastic that can easily be ripped open once you get started. Cutting through the edge will require a pair of scissors, a box cutter, or a knife. However, if you visit a physical store, you will find that all of their scissors are packaged in blister packs. Such is life, and these scissors are quite nice.
They aren't Fiskars, but they are significantly less expensive. These are something I buy every two years or so. In my house, they can withstand a lot of abuse. I just need to buy them again because they mysteriously vanish. When you have grown children, you know what I'm talking about. The colors are fantastic. Holding it is simple. I'm a florist, and I needed several pairs of scissors for my staff. They easily cut all of my ribbon, including filament and wire ribbon. I can easily handle it with one hand while pulling the ribbon taut. My thumb knuckle usually gets sore when I cut for long periods of time, but not with these! I've also used them to cut 20 gauge wire and they're fantastic.
I needed a new pair of fabric scissors like I needed a new pair of shoes. I believe that no matter how much you pay for fabric cutters, if they are used on anything else, they will no longer cut fabric well. In addition, I now have two new young crafty ladies in my life, so when I first saw this deal- " It's not a bad idea to give it a shot. " Is there a way to put them to good use? " I'm so happy I went with my gut instinct! What a shock! That's fantastic! Every type of craft we do now has a pair of scissors! I don't think we'll need to buy anything else for a while, but if we do, you can bet I'll be buying these!.
THESE ARE BY FAR THE BEST SCISSORS I'VE EVER PURCHASED! THEY ARE DURABLE AND OF HIGH QUALITY! SHARP AS WELL! USE THE KITCHEN PAIR TO CUT PEPPERS AND CUT MY FINGER!.
I like how the scissors are colored and how sturdy they are. My only issue was that the pink pair was completely broken during shipping or prior to shipping, leaving only three pairs usable. The three pairs that could be used are excellent and can cut through anything. The scissors are unbeatable in terms of price, quality, and ease of use. I've used them on card stock, paper, plastic, and rubber, and they cut through any material with ease, regardless of the project. These would look great in any kitchen, craft room, or workspace.
Good price, and they work well for most paper crafts, which is why I bought them. These were purchased for my daughter, who has outgrown her child's safety scissors and is in need of a larger pair. They're sharp enough for her to do most of her art safely with them, and they're comfortable in both her smaller and mine hands.
