Hi there! The magnets' residual magnetic force is very low once the fabric is sandwiched between them and the metal backing of the pins, so they should glide right through your machine!

They measure 1 3/4" long by almost 1/2" wide and are just under 1/8" thick. They are my favorite.

When machine embroidering, these slim magnets work well on my metal hoops as well as in regular hoops to hold stabilizer and fabric together. I like 10 on a very large hoop, so this is my second order.
Battlevest patching is a breeze with these magnetic pins. The small size is deceiving; these are quite sturdy. I would recommend having a variety of these on hand; I also purchased the dots, and I can't imagine patching without them now.
These are extremely powerful magnets. When I'm sewing English paper piecing, I use them to keep the fabric aligned. Does a fantastic job.
A fantastic purchase! It's ideal for pinning fabric without causing finger injuries. These are what I used to quilt my KingSize quilt. They are extremely powerful! This is an excellent purchase.
Pins can't be used to sew vinyl because they leave holes. Indentations in the vinyl are left by clips. The magnets do their job admirably. When I tried to use them to sew terry cloth, the fabric was too thick, and the magnets didn't stick well. Aside from that, as a sewing tool, it's a fantastic choice.
I use these with my embroidery sewing machine and find that they add a lot of stability. One side is placed beneath the fabric and stabilizer, while the other is placed on top. I can see how these could be useful for other types of sewing or handwork as well, particularly for embroidery. If the fabric is too delicate for pins, use a needle and thread instead.
This is fantastic! They work great with my magnetic hoop on my embroidery machine if the fabric isn't too thick. When I go through multiple layers, they don't seem to hold as tightly. I would have given them five stars if they had a little more hold, but I am very happy with them overall.
These are great for holding English Paper Piecing and relieving hand tension, and I'm going to try them out with my steel machine embroidery hoops as well.
