There's nothing magical about them. They are truly light and thin. The pin itself is sharp and can easily penetrate a fabric.
My quilts need pins like these, so I use them. Several of my other flies are longer and have flower-shaped heads. The pins on this board appeal to me most.

White goods remain tarnished after they are cleaned. My sewing habits are pretty intense. I almost sew every day. On some days, my hands are sore and stiff, so these pins are my only option. The two of them make me very happy. Despite using the code for several months, we are updating it. A dark grey mark was left on a white fabric when I put some unused pins out of the container (I purchased two containers). As of yet, I have not tried washing the marks away. Discoloration only occurs when I use them for the first time- First, pins need to be placed at least half way into a scrap of fabric before being used on light or white fabric.
During a recent inspection of these MAGIC PINS, I was surprised to find they With such an expensive price tag, I expected the pins to glide through any fabric, but they were difficult to push through cotton terry washcloth and canvas. Satin or silk are not the kinds of fabrics I would choose if I wished to ruin them in some way. As far as finding a sharp pin goes, I still need one Ideally, the pin would glide into fabric without having to push tough and not bend the shaft or catch the fibers during the process. The following update The finish appears to be the problem in this sharpening. I tried several pins and discovered that they are out of sharpening. There are pieces of "silver" on the floor! The nickel plating is flaking off as a result of corrosion. Although the pin likely has a sharp edge, the package has a poor finish. The two other types of Magic Pins that I have do not suffer from this problem. I will still stick to my 1 review, since if their process results in flaky pins, I cannot give more than 1!.
The pins broke while being used to pin fabric. There IS no way to prolong the life of pins after they have been used once.
pins will make you a pin snob for sure, even though they are more expensive than some others. As though they were hot knives cutting through butter, they sink into fabric. The next time I pick up a regular pin, I'm not going to go back.
As my plastic pin head melted, my fabric was ruined and my iron was ruined, also. As you can see, there is no need for you to worry. The tops of the iron are melted by the iron!.
This is the second time I have ordered these pins, and they are noticeably different from my original order, which were thinner and bendable, whereas these are stiff and thicker. This is my second order of these pins, and I am disappointed this time. Material is harder to pass through.
The quality of these materials will make a great difference in your sewing and quilting work. It was a fast shipping experience from this seller.
They bent too easily the first time I used one, and I was worried they would bend too easily in the future. However, since it has not happened since I hit an extra thick spot, I guess I hit it too soon. I particularly like how sharp they are and how well they work. My hands are starting to hurt more and more, so it is great that it was easy to pick up.
