The Clover pins I have in these two slots are 0 and 1. The numbers 4 and 0 are equal. It would have been ideal to have longer pins but the pins were only 5mm. There are just a few millimeters between them. However, they are very thin and and flex, or bend, but they return to straight again as soon as they're bent. It doesn't mean they won't bend like any other pin, but so far it hasn't proven to be a problem. These pins are very thin, so they do not leave large holes in the fabric like traditional quilting pins, which leave large holes in the fabric when used with Batik fabrics. The glass heads are small, so I can iron over them without worrying about melting or adding a lot of bulk. I have to admit that they took me some time to get used to, but now they are my absolute favorite. As for burrs on pins, I have not come across any that caused my fabric to snag. find them superior to all other brands and is why I love Clover pins. In addition to quilting, I also use them when making garments. This is an excellent book.
These pins are absolutely beautiful! I love how long they are and how thin they are! They have a very sharp edge. For these pins, I made a pin cushion solely for them to be kept separated from the rest of my pins There were some good pins that I was.
As recently as last week, I decided I needed to replace my old The glasses are old and I've had them for a long time. Colors that are bright don't appeal to my creative aesthetic. Although the yellow pins, from a purely functional standpoint did what they were supposed to, appeared out of place in the middle of my workspace. In my research on straight quilting pins with glass heads, I found this to be true My final choice came after I scratched my head more than I'd like to admit. We are delighted to have them in our lives! My first impression of the color is that I love it. Buying a set meant I spent a lot of money on oranges A medium-sized business The color amber Originally, I was drawn to a shade of green, but I later liked it too. As the pin itself is thinner than my old quilting pins, it is easier to use. Even though I knew they would bend, the freedom of motion and ease of use immediately impressed me. The pins I had when I was a teenager seem crude and primitive now. You'll be amazed at how a little change in your environment can have a big impact!.
I just received these pins and I am very happy with them. A few months ago, I researched the difference between sewing pins and quilting pins, since I intend to make masks using pins that can easily go through two or Pins that are this sharp are some of the best. In the photo you can see red and green glass heads, which I do not care for, but the ones I received are more of a deep amber and It is great to iron over glass heads since they can be ironed over. In my collection of pins, a few of them claim to be sharp or extra fine, but they're This is the sharpest pin I've come across so far. There have been pin shortages while I have been making masks and stuffed animals on an assembly line. Rather than replacing all those old ones, I'll get a new pack and toss out the old ones.
It is easy to insert and remove and is thin, so it is perfect to sew over. I've found these pins to be the best I've found in the last 7 years despite their ease of bend. I knew in minutes I would not use another pin, so they were all tossed in the bin. Out of the length, the thickness, the beads, etc. , these are perfect!.
PIECES CAN BE MADE WITH THESE. The holes they leave in fabric are not visible. Even though the heads are small, it can sometimes be a bit tricky to pick these up, particularly with arthritic fingers, but otherwise they work very well. However, they do bend easily when pins are used to sew multiple seams together, so they are not the best choice.
There is nothing good about this package of pins The head of a pin comes off in my fingers every time I try to insert it into or take it out of a quilting piece! Can't you make Clover pins I will NOT order from this seller in the future because the quality is horrible!.
It is very easy for them to flex, they are not sturdy. When I bought quilting pins in the past, they were very durable. Regardless of the pin and material you hold in your hand, you can be certain that it will flow where you desire. There is a good chance your fingers will get poked if you don't be careful with these because they bend so easily. Because these are labeled as quilting needles, I would not recommend using them for quilting.
