There is a possibility of cutting it. Using a sturdy plastic disposable knife will work best, but do not push the foam down. It is best to have a serrated edge.

During the process of building my gundams, I actually ordered the wrong size, which was these. They did end up being used for parts that needed their own space in the end. parts spin while being carried, and a windy day could make things spin when you don't want them to. These little foam circles helped contain the spin and keep the parts from spinning. "Styro-" means "strong" in Greek In addition to being good and sturdy, foam is also good. That tiny white debris doesn't crumble away, causing the film to last a very long time. If you are creating what you enjoy, then this is good for arts and crafts, decorations, painting, and anything else you can think of.
