I was going to buy a new couch, but found out that I could just replace the foam in the seat bottoms. My research revealed some uneven reviews of the material, with some saying it smelt bad for a long time and others saying it was not about high density and could compress. My couch is fit for everyday use again, and since I changed the foam instead of replacing it, I am feeling very satisfied. The investment in my couch was only a fraction of the price, and it currently stands back to (some even better than) it was when new, with firm bottom pads that allow me to sit instead of falling. The foam expanded from its tight packaging within a few hours without a foul odor. This is the first time that I have benefited so immediately from a purchase in the past. Additionally, you should know that- An improvement to my enjoyment of my home every day.

There are claims that this foam is high density and suitable for chairs, upholstery, etc. I don't agree with that statement. There was a lot of density in this foam and it disappointed me greatly. However, it is too soft and flattens out as soon as I sit on them (I weigh 135 lbs). I made cushion covers for dining chairs, but the cushions are too soft. On its own, this foam is not strong enough to support chair pads. The foam we'll use for future upholstery projects will be a different grade. In terms of this, it is OK for some uses, comes shrink wrapped, and arrived in good condition. A vaccumed 5 inch foam arrived, and I had to unwrap it. Once I opened the pack, I waited 24 hours for it to grow back to its original Nothing like that ever happened. As seen in the attached picture, there are four of them. You can only use 5 characters. It will now be returned to me. As for the firm, it's not very big. A quick update As described in the directions, I was told to wait for it to fully inflate after 48 hours. After waiting an additional minute, I found the middle of the foam to be 5 inches, but the sides were still 4 inches. Due to the fact that I couldn't return it, I used it to make my sofa. The cushion did help the seats and provided firm support.

In preparation for a bench I recently bought for the end of my bed, I purchased three inches of foam to make a pad. To fix the problem, the bench had to be built- The electric blanket cord at the end of the bed caused Utti to trip. Since I had never done any work with foam before, I went to the internet to find that the best way to cut it was with an electric knife. It worked great. To make the bench cover, I bought a piece of quilted material and cut its top, bottom, and sides. I also had no trouble with that, until I decided to put a zipper into this soon-to-be masterpiece. Getting the pieces straight from the factory was a breeze and it all went together well. It has been put to use, it looks great, and I wish I had a picture to share. It is not difficult, so if anyone is afraid of it, they should Measuring precisely and adding 1/2 inch for seams on the cover material was all that was needed. I have enough foam left for other projects. The next one will be a matching cushion to cover a chair in the bedroom. You can zip it up!.

If I had given more weight to other reviews, I would have made a better decision. The first thing you'll notice is it's not a full 3" - it's more like a 2". The five-inch mark. It is also permanently dented due to the way that it is folded when it is I will conclude by saying this Not as dense as advertised, but it feels like regular foam. The process of sending this back is disappointing to me, and I don't enjoy having to do so.
