The answer is yes! In my experience, charcoal foam is stiffer and slicker than apply foam, but a fellow fursuit maker has told me that charcoal foam is great for making a stiff yet
Taking a stab at it, I would guess its density is 28 lbs. In my past life, I made foam, so I guess I'm not that far off
My opinion is that it is. Depending on its density, it could be used as upholstery or cushion There is only one inch of thickness to consider. However, when used in conjunction with an existing cushion, it should add firmness.
It is possible to buy foam for cushions in a variety of thicknesses, in other words, Height. *br> *br>Our recommendation is to measure the height of the cushions you currently own. You can find foam for 6" high couch cushions through a quick online search. You can also adjust your cushions to whatever height you want. I am not sure why, but maybe my misunderstanding is the root of this When making my cushions, I used two different thicknesses of foam, one thick (I think it was 5 inches thick) and the other thinner (this 1/2 inch foam). Good luck in your measuring, and cut well. I used a serrated bread knife that I used as a hacksaw, but it may be good to have some sort of small tool

According to the description, I got the item as "0. ". Dimensional values of 5" x 24" x 72" and a Density of 1" are listed. A cubic foot holds eight pounds). I measured the thickness of the board with a dial caliper after it had been unpacked for a day and allowed to sit. In the thickest part, there was a thickness of There was not much more than 4" of it, and it was mostly under The thickness of this document is 35 inches. If the dimensions are as listed, the whole piece would be half a cubic foot in volume, and half a pound in weight. The metal weighs about fourteen and eight ounces, or nine tenths of a pound. There are four ounces in a pound. Approximately 8 lbs of foam were delivered to me. This would suggest a density of 1. 9 ounces would imply a density of 1. The weight per cubic foot is 1 pound. In the end, I had no problem compressing the foam to zero. A force of 14 ounces was applied to my finger to penetrate a distance of 0. 1 inch. My instruments aren't capable of measuring compressibility in a manner used by the supplier, which would require additional instruments that I do not own.
Until now, we have only seen white foam sheets. Despite its density, it is not dense at all. In no way is it appropriate for use as a seat cushion. This "padding" would likely not even make a difference to people weighing more than a few pounds, so it could be used to pad the sides of a hamster cage. I had concerns about the seller but he did not respond. I give the product and seller a thumbs down.
The inch-thick foam was used at the end of the five years as replacement foam for the cushions on our Lazy Boy leather couch that had lost support. Customer care service at Lazy Boy, who come out and fix furniture, said they couldn't help us because it was older than three years old, so I investigated and took the matter into my own hands. It worked out perfectly, and we can expect another 5 years of use. Considering you pay big bucks for furniture from Lazy Boy, it's really sad that you can't use it for more than 3 years before you have to fix it. In looking at the Lazy Boy reviews, when it comes to a high-end furniture retailer their reviews are pretty bad, so thanks for your product so we can extend the life.
There is a sagging problem beneath the cushion of my sleeper sofa. In addition, the cushions are somewhat flat after being used. These are the cushions under my couch that I got to give them a boost. I cannot say enough about how well it worked. The width of my couch with the bulky arms is about 91 inches. I was extremely happy with the cushion fit right across the seat, without any cutting required, which is exactly what I was looking Fortunately, now the seats no longer sag underneath the frame, and it has made a huge difference in their overall comfort. It was too hard to decide, but I could have used even more. I went with three inches in thickness but I think I could have used even more. There is not as much foam as I would have liked (but it goes a long way), and I think it might have been even more comfortable if there was.
Footstools are what I use this product for. According to the description, I expected this to be high density so I could use it as a foot rest, but the material actually compresses easily and cannot be high density as described. One supplier sent me some high density material that is much firmer than the one I have. I am very disappointed with the material, will now have to look for alternative high density material.
As a result, it is very resilient, and it is very quick to regain its original thickness.
As much as I was expecting one inch of thickness, I was surprised by how thin the paper was. My intention was to use this as a minor addition to my couch, but based on how flimsy it is, I'm not sure if it's worth the time to try and make it work or just to I could be out a ton of money if I choose not to use it, but the only good thing is I'm not out a ton.
It may have been good stuffing, but it would have been of little use for This is quite a waste of time.
