Those are the standard needles in the industry. You can count on them.
The jury is still out on whether they'll do it. This is the first time I have found my old machine on Amazon and I was glad to get them. Please accept my sincere apologies.
Those don't have balls, they've got a- There should be a point at the top of the needle, not a flat surface.

My grandfather taught me that a needle could fit into any machine if the flat side of top of needle fitted along the back of the machine. I have found that it has been true for the last 40 years whenever the eye of the needle is to be threaded from.
It is a fabric I always sew with, as well as a ballpoint needle that I use. A new pack of needles was bought at the store and the problem was resolved. I tested each needle in the pack I got from amazon and they all had the exact same problem (skipping stitches or a mess of jammed threads in the back). I switched back to the needles from Joann's and the problem was Whether my particular set is defective or the quality of needles on amazon is poor in any case I caution others who think they are having trouble sewing to buy a new pack of needles before spending hours rethreading their machines and adjusting settings which won't solve the problem.
I now know how important these needles are to the construction of jerseys- Due to the ballpoint, knit fabric is required. As a result, I do not have a problem using the wrong needle on the wrong fabric now that I am aware not all needles are the same. It's a good thing I found these needles before I broke any more, because I learned from my stupid mistakes.
Heming jeans with thick side seams takes a lot of effort, but these hold up perfectly.
There's no doubt that the 4 needles I received will work very well. I had a problem with the shipping process. At some point BEFORE shipping, the plastic cover that slides up and down to cover the needles had fallen down, leaving over half of them exposed. Those pieces did not fall out of the envelope while I was mailing it.
That's what I learned the hard way. Getting back to my mainland home, I realize the price is better than what one can find.
(As advertised) I purchased these needles in the hope they would last longer than my regular needles. It is not apparent to me that these are titanium based as they claim. There was no reason to change the needle five times since I was not sewing anything extremely bulky or unusual. Yes, I agree! There are five. They stopped breaking as soon as I walked into a craft store and purchased regular tapestry needles.
The main reason I prefer using these needles to the standard kind is that they last more, but other than the longevity, there are not many other differences between them and the regular kind. In the meantime, if you're like me and need something built to last, these are certainly worth a shot.
