Questions & Answers
They should work on any machine sold in the United States. Use the heaviest needles you can for your project.
Probably- They are employed by my brother.
They'll fit, of course. They're a needle that can be used in any situation. The only reason they wouldn't fit your machine is if your Necchi has a special needle that looks nothing like a universal needle.
Have you gone over your booklet with a fine tooth comb? These needles are designed for heavy-duty tasks, according to the manufacturer. You'll need a different needle if you're just sewing plain cotton or sheer fabric.
Selected User Reviews For SINGER 04801 Universal Heavy Duty Sewing Machine Needles, 5-Count
This is a collection of different items. The needles at Singer are color-coded. This is a variety package that I found to be ideal. But be certain that's what you want! Three different types of needles are included in the package. Brown tips are found on the most heavy-duty models: They are intended for use with leather and vinyl. It's a one-time deal. "Heavy duty" is the name given to the second strongest. There are silver tips on them. They're ideal for sewing through multiple layers of fabric or thick fabrics. These come in a set of two. Then there are the periwinkle-tipped ones. They're made to go with denim/jeans specifically. Two denim needles are included in this package. These needles will serve you well as long as you use the correct needle for the job at hand. If you only need leather or denim needles, keep looking until you find the perfect pack! The needles from Singer are excellent.
Everything went smoothly. I ordered these after going through five regular needles while making a denim quilt. There was no problem at all, and it glided through all layers like butter.
What a farce, particularly for a product with a rating of 4. Overall, I give it 5 out of 5 stars. The needles were in a package that had been clearly opened and taped shut before. The person who replaced the needles in their slots didn't even manage to put them in the correct slots (they're labeled). Oh, and a heavy-duty needle (110/18) was also missing. Look at the image below. Based on other reviews, I would say you have a 90% chance of getting what you ordered and a 2010% chance of just shaking your head.
I needed to hem some jeans and didn't have the correct needle for my machine, so I ordered the multi-purpose needle. I bought it because it was a good deal, and I'm a Prime member, so two days later I had the needle in my machine and was hemming my jeans. The needle performed admirably for the task at hand. I'm also relieved to have the extra needles in case I need them for future projects.
Having all of the different types in one place is very convenient for me. This is a great tool to have on hand if you're new to sewing and need to figure out which needles you'll need and which materials will work best with which needles. To find out what your machine and each fabric can do, you'll have to experiment. With this, you should be able to handle fabrics that are moderately thick to thicker. For many, this is undoubtedly a must-have item.
These needles seemed great for about 6 masks and then they just bent in half. I don't want a refund, I'd rather have a replacement. I'm making masks free of charge for doctors, pharmacies, and elderly people. I made about 5 masks and it bent, so I tried another needle and it did the same thing. I'm using needles I had in my seeing kit and they work fine. Could you please replace them?.
I'm really glad I bought them. They fit perfectly in my Singer 3116 sewing machine, and I've used the denim needle to alter my favorite jeans with no problems, as well as the heavy duty needle on heavy canvas and thick fabric. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's a fantastic deal with a high-quality product.
I've always been a fan of singer brands, having grown up with them. These were purchased to use as denim needles. I recently had to hem a pair of jeans and make a small repair. The needles didn't even make it to the end of the hem. After 15 minutes of sewing, the needle was finished. To complete my repairs, I needed to change it. I'm just sorry I squandered the funds. Now I'll have to purchase a new set of needles, which is money I shouldn't have to spend. It's so disappointing that, in order to make money, even Singer has turned to low-quality products. I understand that there aren't as many people who sew as there once were, but it's still a viable option. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT.
