Because I did not want to machine stitch together the layers, I am You have to hold back on the trigger if you want it to work. by doing practically a two-stage trigger press to be most effective. I place the needle through all layers of the fabric and then press the trigger to release the baste from the main strip - this helped me release the needle from the fabric. To push the basting piece into your fabric, you have to push the trigger halfway, but without releasing the trigger. Then you need to press the trigger the rest of the way to complete the process. The secret to success is to press the trigger slowly, and then pause halfway between presses, which has a tremendously positive effect on our success rate. It is not recommended to use the tool with a quick trigger press.
When I bought the gun, it came with fasteners, but I now have to pay an additional $20 because I didn't get a needle with it. This has been a disappointment for me.
I was able to use it for 5 minutes before it There was no way to clear the jam, and it just jammed. I can't be of any help to you.
Having one just like this for about 20 years isn't unusual for me. An acquaintance of mine bought it for me. The one I have has been used for costumes, for attaching items to shipping containers, and for all sorts of other things. I find the tool to be very useful.
The only one who could figure it out was my husband! I was shocked at how well it worked! It is easy to use, and I was pleasantly surprised at The safety pins are much better used here! This is the one for me!.
A little basting gun like this one is a lifesaver for me as a dance teacher. We put it in the back stage kit first as soon as we are on stage. The tacks we use are the smallest so if we have outfit issues, they can be fixed quickly with a As well, we use it for our platter tutus to hold down the tulle, so that we don't have to worry about the tulle opening up It is also easy to use and if there are issues, there are so few parts that it is easy to replace the part that is broken. However, the needle tends to break after many uses, but that is the only thing that breaks.
The software is easy Unlike safety pinning, it is faster. Keeping layers together is made easy with 1/8" plastic tags. The removal of the stickers is easy. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it years ago.
As a frequent user of this basting gun, I have good experience with it. My quilts that I have been working on will now be completed with this.
