EASY APPLIQUE CREATION: The innovative see-through design makes appliqué creation a breeze. Simply layer and fuse your composition on top of the transparent fusing mat after placing your paper design beneath it.
NON-SLIP MAT: Non-slip silicone prevents your mat or fabrics from moving while ironing, keeping your pattern in place. When ironing, simply place your fusing mat on a wool ironing mat or another ironing pad, and fuse your design without worrying about moving pieces.
NON-STICK: The fusing mat has a fantastic non-stick surface that protects your fusible and allows it to be heated again and again! Other arts and crafts projects can even be done directly on the mat with hot glue.
BONUS PRESSING SHEET: Protect your iron with this thick 12" x 18" non-stick pressing sheet! To avoid fusible from getting on your iron's sole plate, simply place the pressing sheet over your fabric while ironing. Fusible can be easily wiped off thanks to the non-stick nature of the pressing sheets. This is also a Heat Press Transfer Sheet.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to put it in the dishwasher and clean it?

There's no reason to put it in the dishwasher in the first place. I'd only put a baby wipe near it because it's a non-stick mat.

The fusion mat, a teflon mat, and a sheet of clear plastic were all included in the box. Is clear plastic suitable for pressing or is it only suitable for packaging?

The clear plastic is only used for packaging, but it can be used as a table mat if you're using watercolors or glue. surface. That's what I used it for, and it worked to keep my table clean, which I wiped off.

Is this something I can use with my Heat Press or just my iron?

The heat press can be used with the pressing sheet. Only use the iron with the pressing mat.

I had a similar sheet I was using for quilt applique that I liked, but it was too small for the project I was working on
4/5

This item's size was listed as being the same as my project, which would have been ideal, but the green border around it reduces the visual space. I didn't like the grid lines because they made it more difficult to see through than the Teflon sheet I had previously used. All of the other large-size sheets that were available appeared to be buff in color. I decided to buy this one because I thought those would be difficult to see through. Even though I was using a vinyl sheet with the pattern traced on it over the top to help with placement, it was important to see through the sheet for proper placement of the quilt pieces because the project I was working on was a bit intricate (horse head with flowing mane). I have put all the pieces together but have not actually ironed them on so I can't review that, though having the additional Teflon sheet to place over the top might be very useful since a little bit of the fusible webbing ended up on the top of one or two pieces, so the protectio So, it worked well enough for my needs; it would have been even better if it had been a little wider or didn't have the border around it, but it was nice because it's heavy and doesn't slide around on your project. br>br>Wanted to add some pictures. There's a photo of my old mat and the new Precision Mat next to each other. In the photo, I don't think you can see the grid line very well. I didn't think the grid lines were necessary for my purposes. They irritated me, but they might appeal to others. You should be able to see through the mat well enough if you're working in good lighting. The other photo shows my project after it had been fused together but before I had taken it off the mat. It was simple to get rid of. This mat is nice (now that I'm used to it), it stays in place, and I'll probably use it for other projects in the future.

It's ideal for quilting collages
5/5

Small pieces are held in place very well by the silicon layer on the bottom. The upper sheet protects the iron from any adhesives once everything is in the right place. Excess adhesives (such as those used for Steam and Seam) can be easily removed with a few fingernail flicks once the job is completed. Because of its 17" x 24" size, it fits perfectly on our wool ironing mat, making this an excellent set for classroom use. This purchase has made me very happy.

AWESOME- 10+
5/5

The Precision Fusing Mat fulfilled all of my expectations and then some. For me, the see-through tracing design feature was a plus, as was the size and inclusion of a Teflon sheet. Raw edge applique is one of my favorite techniques, and this mat made it a whole lot easier.

Applique is a breeze with this fabric
5/5

After watching a video for a similar product that cost twice as much, I decided to buy it. So I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I took the chance. It greatly simplifies the process of making fusible applique. Pieces can be fused together and then peeled off the mat without affecting the adhesive. It is possible to see the mat. so you can place your applique assembly diagram under the mat and build your pieces without having to guess. To use over your applique, the mat includes a thick Teflon pressing sheet. This keeps your iron from becoming clogged and protects delicate fabrics from scorching. It significantly shortened my assembly time, and my applique now adheres perfectly to the base fabric, even after multiple applications of heat to my applique pieces. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.

Applique Mat System is a system that allows you to apply appliques to your mat I saw this mat being demonstrated on "You Tube" by "Sew Very Easy" and how simple it was for her to make applique with it
5/5

After that, I decided to purchase one, and WOW! I would highly recommend this mat to anyone who enjoys making appliques or even putting on patches because it makes it so much easier and faster without the worry of getting glue on your iron and ironing board.

My printer liked it a lot
5/5

For printing purposes, I followed their instructions. I was a huge winner. There will be no jamming. The copies were in excellent condition. There was one page that was slightly crooked when it was inserted. It had a minor flaw, but I was able to straighten it out before it became stuck. Smudging occurred, but it had no effect on the quality of the area I needed for my appliqué. Using the printer wastes paper, but it's ideal for intricate patterns. I saved all of my patterns for those. I had some fusible paper on hand that I could use to trace the simple designs. It's convenient to have both on hand.

This is a fantastic mat for applique with raw edges
5/5

I like how heavy the mat is and how large it is (17" x 24"). It is placed on top of a pattern and does not move while I fuse the applique pieces together. Because it fits my wool pressing pad, I purchased the larger size mat. When I'm trying to see small details on the pattern, it's still not as clear as I'd like, but it's a lot better than my previous applique sheet, which I've had for a while, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone doing raw edge applique.

For anyone who appliques, this type of mat should be a must-have
5/5

This mat is a fantastic addition to the raw edge applique tools I have. I can now build designs that overlap without worrying about them moving on the way to the ironing board, and I also use it with my lightbox, which makes applique designs much easier to work with. Exceptional applique mat at a reasonable price. br>,.
