Questions & Answers
Wonder Under is an iron-on product that you iron on and then peel away the top layer of Pellon, leaving a surface that can be ironed on the wrong side of the fabric. The best uses of this fabric are to make appliques. For bags, do not wonder under the interfacing, but just iron it on instead.
Even though adhering before cutting appliques can help prevent fraying (especially for fabrics that are loosely woven), it won't completely prevent all fabrics from fraying once they've been sewn on.
It seems that way to me. Making face masks with Pellon #911FF has been a huge project for me. As well, it is a non-toxic substance It's made of woven material and can be washed and dried.
People who make face masks are saying the same thing that was suggested at the beginning. In the end, that's what I did with it. The material can breathe through it, and it can be washed. There was only one negative aspect to the product--the size was listed as 15" x 5 yards, but it was actually 15" x

Fabrics and patches made of a variety of materials can be treated with it. While the listing and photo show the property as being Only 3 of my package's contents were sent to me.
My only regret is that I can only give 1 star to this product, as I love it, but, like others before me, I received only 3 yards instead of 5 as advertised and pictured. I'm surprised at the lack of action on this issue so far.
Three pairs of jeans had torn out at the knees due to a couple of tears in his down jacket. He also tore a couple of rips in his down coat, which resulted in feathers everywhere. For the coat repairs, I bought patches for them to make it look better, but I was uncomfortable with the adhesive backing, so I cut two of this and glued them between the patches and the coat, then ironed them. Having a packet of patches wouldn't have been enough to repair the rips in the jeans because the rips went all the way from the end of the knee to the other. Again, I used a double layer and followed the instructions for pressing, putting paper between the front and back of the jeans so they could stick. Then I glued the patches I made to those to the bottoms that I had scaled to fit his inseam. As well as using a press cloth, I used all of my artwork. One of my only troubles was that the only way to remove the backing was to press it, and it's sometimes hard to see be helpful if the paper side had some sort of writing on it. ) As a result, I ended up ironing the adhesive side, but I let the iron cool down, then used a nylon scrub pad, which got it off without scratching the iron. The adhesive works VERY well for patches, which require a really strong bond. I highly recommend it. Applied to appliques, etc. , I think this would also work.
It is a product that I have used before and like. The original size of this was 15 inches by 5 yards. However, the product was shipped as 15" x 3 yds.
It is 5 yards as described, but I have to roll that extra yard. I thought it was.
I bought a 15'x3' product, instead of the 15'x5' yard size advertised.
As described, this is not the case. A piece of fabric 15 inches by 5 yards was ordered. A 15 by 3 yard item was dealt to me.
This needs to be fixed as soon as possible by Amazon.
