Questions & Answers

Is this the best product for quilt blocks made of jersey knit?

This was used to iron a t-shirt's back. I used these shirts for a big t-shirt. I rough cut the shirts to size first, then ironed them to the back, and finally cut to final exact dimensions. It worked perfectly, stabilizing the fabric sufficiently, but everything is still soft and flexible when the quilt is put together.

Is it difficult at times?

I use Heat and Bond for wool applique all the time because it doesn't harden.

Since polyester is 100% polyester is 100% polyester is 10 Is it possible to sublimate it onto a cotton t-shirt to make a patch?

Yes, it can be used to make a patch for a cotton shirt, but the patch will not stretch as much as the rest of the t-shirt. The webbing on this shirt is intended to keep the fabric from stretching.

Will this work as a stabilizer for minky to be used as a quilt back?

Minky has worked well for me without the use of a stabilizer. A stabilizer, in my opinion, would make it too rigid.

It has been altered
3/5

This is something I've purchased several times and have always enjoyed. But this time, they changed it. br> It feels different now, and I've tried everything I can think of, but it's impossible to work with.

The price was reasonable for a whole roll, so I ordered it online
4/5

It clings to t-shirts nicely. My only complaint is that there isn't one continuous length of interfacing on the shirt material I'm attempting to turn into a quilt. Instead, it looks like long scraps of interfacing. I'll be rolling it out when that piece suddenly separates from the rest of the roll. It's not a major issue, but it appears to be a waste of time. Maybe that's because I've never bought interfacing before? Not sure. Aside from that, it appears to be a good product for what I require.

Good
4/5

It was a great match for my t-shirt. I'm working on a shirt quilt. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the purple wrapping label bled into the material. However, no one will see the inside of the quilt, so it isn't a big deal.

Exactly what I needed for my t-shirt quilt! I found exactly what I needed! I'm making a tee shirt quilt, and no matter how much I ironed each square, it didn't hold its shape
5/5

The edges are nice and crisp after I used this, but the squares are still light and soft. It's something I highly recommend! It's fantastic!.

These products are fantastic! I've been using this product since it first came out, and I was overjoyed to discover that I could buy it by the bolt on Amazon
5/5

This one is ideal for fabrics that require a light touch of stability while maintaining a soft flow. On cuffs, collars, buttons, and buttonhole strips, I use it to add just a little something extra. It also offered just enough support for some low-thread-count projects. Embroidery on a light-weight fabric with a count.

Simple to work with
4/5

I make a lot of Barbie gowns for customers, and a lot of the fabric is quite delicate. br>It would be nearly impossible to make the gowns with all the tiny stitching areas if the interfacing was not fused to the material!.

What I was looking for
5/5

It's both light and long-lasting. I always need interfacing, so buying in bulk is the way to go. The cost was a couple of dollars less than the $1. I usually pay 97 cents per yard at Walmart, and I'm satisfied.
