Fabric. I get 6 oz. of Roxanne's Baste It Glue, which is extremely important. Batting will be required. June Taylor quilters starch is a new find for me, and I love it. It's made of a tough fabric that looks like paper.
It's just a matter of scale.

The instructions are simple to follow, and there's a great YouTube video with even more ideas. It's a great way for me to put some of my quilt scraps to good use. I found the round ones' directions at my quilt shop and was ecstatic to discover that the templates could be used to make either shape.
It would have been easier to use if the packer had not folded them so tightly to flatten them; I wasn't sure if I could iron them because the ink would come off.
I had hoped to receive instructions with this, but it was my fault for not reading the description closely enough. However, you can still use it.
It's impossible to make a mistake here! With these paper patterns, you can make lovely folded star potholders and trivets. Simply cut, fold, and line up your fabric choices on the pattern lines, see a few seams, and you'll have beautiful products to give as gifts.
A set of templates with a high price tag. It's a bit frail.
This pattern appeals to me on every level. It's a lot of fun to make, and it's even better when you use different fabrics from the same color family.
Very simple to follow, but I had to make a few changes in the back. Making square pot holders is one of my favorite things to do.
When making folded star hot pads, this is a great template to use. It makes keeping things straight and even a lot easier.
