Selected User Reviews For Heat Transfer Vinyl HTV for T-Shirts 12 Inches by 8 Feet (Yellow)
About 10 shirts were made with this vinyl, and it was easy to weed, and it was also easy to transfer to fabric. )
As soon as you weed the transfer plastic, it becomes slightly sticky, but this comes in handy when positioning the transfer on fabric, as it doesn't slide everywhere like some other HTV plastic. This seems like an excellent deal to me.
Do not buy! This is terrible! I urge you not to buy! *Weeding is not a good idea! I have never bought such a bad vinyl before! When I went to weed the entire roll, it was so thick it did not weed easily and I had to pull stuff off to make things fit. I threw away the entire roll after it was so lengthy and incredibly time-consuming. I will have to buy easyweed again The time you spend on this is wasted! Having wasted both my time and money gives me such a sense of rage!.
HTV vinyl bought from this store was thicker than vinyl purchased locally and from some other brand name shops. I was glad I ordered extra once I realized what had happened. With my silhouette cameo auto blade set to 4, force to 18 and only one pass, I achieved this result. perfectly and would pill straight off as soon as it was cut. The press was also heated for a quick press. You must remove the clear transfer paper while it is still hot after you apply it, not after it has cooled. My next order will be from this brand.
I hope that the material is durable despite the thickness of it. My silhouette 3 usually uses a setting of 4, and I had to adjust it to 11, since this was a photo I had to take. Aside from that, weeding is extremely difficult. You can't peel off the carrier sheet easily. It was difficult to weed 27 shirts because they are so thick. You will experience a shrinkage if you layer this one on top of another one. In the future, I will look for this product again if I need to make shirts with orange, however, I will not layer it and will weed it more thoroughly.
I appreciate how simple it is to use this HTV. It was used to personalize a hygiene bag for my stepson. Although I didn't apply a lot of pressure than for a shirt because of the material of the bag, wanted to avoid melting it, it did stick to it pretty well, but it wasn't impossible. The name of the person was cut out using a cricut. similar to other HTV vinyl (a little thicker), with the shiny side being on the bottom of the Other than the setting of the iron, no additional pressure was required. I found the process of weeding to be straightforward. This is a product that I purchased in a variety of When I washed shirts with it, they came out very well (cold water, inside out, no fabric softener, without the dryer, I hung them up to dry).
You're better off going with a brand you trust. Whenever I needed something like this, I bought it. It is time for me to learn from my mistakes. HTV is my favorite form of home entertainment. I have owned as many brands as I have tried. My God, this is a terrible thing! A matte black model was bought by me. Matte is not the right word. This is It almost looks like patent leather. In addition, this was a huge pain to weed and cut! Because it had been recommended in reviews that the force needed to be higher (11) I set it higher. The plan seemed to provide me with some relief from some of my problems. That's not true! On a 24" piece of paper, I cut a couple of designs. There was a brand new blade waiting for me. Despite the fact that my design cut well at the top and the bottom, it didn't cut as well in the middle. There is a distinct difference in thickness between the vinyl there and here. It was almost impossible to weed this stuff because it is so thick. There was a lot of shine on the shirt, and it was quite My non-profit organization cuts a simple non-profit Design with layers and this felt thick and stiff on the shirt. Next time I won't purchase. There is no point in saving money on this.
It is shinny on both sides. That was the first thing I noticed. To find out which side to cut, I weeded a test plot. In the instructions for the Cameo cutter, there were settings for functions that my Cameo Silhouette didn't have. I used the 3/8/6 setting. In addition to being thicker, this vinyl is more durable than the previous vinyl I used to take care of Instructions (for full or grammatical and punctuation errors) read something like, "press until vinyl sticks and cold peel" In what way? Is that true? This will be my first attempt at You can expect more from me in the near future. I was surprised to find that the vinyl worked very well after finding The cold peel stuck after I heated it to 310 F for about 20 seconds and then pressed at 310 F. The thought of that never occurred to me. As a result, I would have liked the instructions to be It took me some time and I scorched two shirts using the settings, but I was ultimately able to accomplish what I needed to for this customer without as much trouble as I thought I would have. I would give this product a 4 out of 5 rating because of the instructions. I will post any updates regarding the vinyl after laundering if my customer has any issues.
The holiday tee you see here was made with this vinyl today. EasyPress worked very well with my Cricut Expression Air2 and I used my expression air2 to cut out the images. matter was since they both look shiny, it was hard to tell which side was the shiny side. A weed and iron on fabric that is easy to handle.
