It's always fair for me to leave reviews and I honestly spent $20. I had a hard time weeding and the design was not able to stay on the carrier. Taking the design off its carrier sheet to press on requires you to remove it from the carrier sheet (shown in photos). The design cannot be simple when it consists of words. Besides being a pretty color, the only good thing I can say about it is that it's a nice material. A 24 inch sheet of vinyl yielded only 8 inches of design that I could actually put to.
I had to try a few times before I got it right, but after I got it, it was gorgeous. It looks really good to me. My expectations were exceeded by a great deal. While I have used other brands in the past (and yes, I own a press) there were problems with adhesion, but this did not occur. The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely come back.
I loved how well the foil worked I did have a few small indentations in it but I have never used foil before so am not sure if this is normal. It was a big hit with the group. Despite heat application, it took a little longer than the average HTV to peel correctly. About 40 to 60 presses will do During 356 sec there is a 50 seconds break.
I regret it to the core. The first time I cut this using my Cricut machine, I used the recommended cut settings on the box the HTV came in & I failed both times A few parts were shredded while others were not even cut through. There was no point in doing this and it was a waste of time The currency. In the future, I'll continue with my usual habits.
Then I read a bit about reflective HTV and how to apply it to a system that has some rather tricky-to-use controls Using fabric as a canvas The brand of reflective HTV I chose was determined after extensive research. Having read some glowing reviews about Firefly, I decided to try it. am very happy with how it turned out! My trike is a recumbent trike, which tends to be extremely low to the ground, and I ride it before dawn. Although the bright colors make you more visible, I liked to know that I had some visibility when riding before dawn. I was able to achieve the visibility I needed with the reflective HTV! As cars' headlights shine into my direction, I can see the decorative trims on my jackets. It is very helpful to check out the directions that come with the HTV. Cricut Explore Air 2 was used to cut out the designs. It wasn't a problem for them to weed. Using my Cricut Easy Press (280 degrees with several short presses), I applied the HTV following the instructions. Several times I have washed the windbreakers (inside out), and I have dried them in my dryer (on the lowest heat setting) for just a few minutes and then hung them to dry Still very reflective and adhering to the jacket, the HTV remains on top of the jacket. As a result, I am impressed with the ease in which this reflective HTV was applied. The Firefly HTV product is worth every penny - I would buy it again in a heartbeat I am giving an "honest" review of this product because it is a good-quality product at a good price. My review for this company was not in exchange for a discount or free merchandise.
Using this foil gives my Loki helmet a little something extra since it's a little thinner, gets more texture from the shirt, and really brings out the richness of the shirt. This gel sticks and holds well to blended stretchy shirts (not super stretchy athletic ones, but has a little give. ) It has a cool peel effect. br>br>One of the reasons for my love of FireFly products is that they arrive SUPER fast. They have just sent me a third HTV and I have just received the 3-pack I ordered it at 7 pm and it got to me the next afternoon! A deal like that is hard to beat.
We had such an easy time working with this! Getting the hang of it was relatively easy and applying it to shirts was a piece of cake once I got a handle on There was only one shirt I made with glitter HTV before this one, so I am a real newbie. To protect my HTV plastic carrier from scratching, I used a thin dishcloth between my iron and it. As you iron the HTV on, you will see how it starts to adhere to the t-shirt below it after about 15 seconds. Please pull back the plastic carrier in a gentle way. Taking things slowly. After I had rolled a corner, I flipped it over from end to end. There were a lot of situations in which HTV could be ripped if things were clinging to the tshirt. I learned to utilize its qualities after a single day, then I sewed 14 shirts with it. This is easy!.
After reading the reviews, I purchased this to make a gift for my brother for his birthday. In order to give the gold foil iron on a special look, I purchased it. The Cricut Ex2 cut it nicely and I was able to weed it with no problems. When I heat pressed with the Easy press the instructions said 305 degrees for 10 minutes It was not adhering to my shirt after pressing it on 325 for 30 seconds after preheating it (it was cool to touch and it was quite difficult to peel the carrier sheet off) and there were some spots that lifted from the edges (it could have been uneven pressure). To do this, I flipped the piece over and ironed the back 320 for 15 seconds. There was still one small area that I needed to press on 305 for 15 seconds. So I covered that area with parchment paper and pressed it for 15 seconds. Although it seems like a lot of work, I'm new at this and cannot attribute everything to the materials. On the whole, it feels like a really nice shirt. It is stretchy and light. However, I feel like there is still a great deal to do and that it represents excellent The next time I purchase, I'll definitely do so.
