To be honest, I haven't tried it yet, but I think it would be fantastic. I've used the foil iron on cotton and it performed exceptionally well. Simply cut a small piece of the sport flex and iron it on as a test, and for the record, I recently purchased a Cricut Easy Press. I'm never going back to using a standard iron. For my daughter's birthday, I even purchased one.

Pleather is a synthetic material that may melt when exposed to heat; therefore, I do not recommend it. Test it. It will, however, "give" to a certain extent.

Very good quality! Great quality, smooth application (I used a regular clothing iron), and no issues after 8 washes. br>br>I'm revising my review because I haven't used this vinyl in almost three years. In August of 2018, I published my first review. It's now May 2021, and the vinyl looks exactly the same as it did when I first put it on. There will be no fading, wrinkles, lifting, or, most importantly, CRACKING! I don't treat the items with this vinyl with any special care. I wash them in the same machine as the rest of my clothes on the heavy duty cycle with warm water and air dry them on medium heat. Most days, I work outside in the woods on a tractor, so my clothes take a beating. This vinyl has left a lasting impression on me. I'm not a huge fan of Cricut vinyl in general, but this one is incredible.

I'm new to the Cricut and have only worked with paper before, never vinyl or HTV. I despise the fact that Cricut products don't come with instructions, but if you follow the ones on their website for this product, it will work perfectly! Even if you're a beginner, this is a great way to get started Even if the font is small! The only other piece of critical advice I came across in a review was to tape it to the mat. With the piece of tape that came on the roll, I did it at each corner! I'm overjoyed at the outcome! I tried to adhere it with my small cricut iron, but it wouldn't stick. It smeared the glue onto the shirt, ruining a $18 shirt I bought for the iron-on. So I'm out over $30 due to defective merchandise! There was an option to replace the item, but the closest UPS store is 30 minutes away (I live in the country), so I'd have to drive an hour round trip to get a replacement $12 roll on top of ruining a brand new tshirt that they aren't replacing. I guess I'll just lose my money.
For the past six years, I've been making t-shirts for my kids, and this is the only vinyl that has lasted wash after wash! My only piece of advice is to test a swatch first. If you don't have a piece of cloth between your iron and the vinyl because it's too hot, I forgot to change the setting on my iron before making my son's Fortnite T-shirt, so the vinyl will melt. On T and E, you can see where it began to melt, but once adjusted to the proper setting, it applies smoothly.
BUT . It turned out to be a complete squander of funds. Because it's so soft, weeding takes a long time because everything simply peels and stretches: (I squandered an entire roll and still couldn't get it to work on my shirt. ) Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and stick with standard HTV. It was a huge let down.
I really like the way this Vinyl feels on shirts, but it never stays put. I made a shirt as a gift, and it began to peel up as soon as it was washed. I figured it was just because I didn't iron it on properly, so I made a batch of shirts for a group of boys to wear to a soccer tournament, and this time I was extra careful to ensure everything was ironed on properly. I washed one of the shirts after the tournament, on a cool, gentle cycle - I love the feel of this Vinyl and how soft and flexible it is on the shirts; it really feels great, but it just does not stick to shirts over time. So, if you're only going to use it once, it'll probably be fine, but if you want it to last, try something different - This stuff simply won't stick to the surface.
