This set of needles comes with a handy carrying case. It secures the needles by screwing it on. Unfortunately, the needles do not have large eyes, making it difficult to work with yarn.
I got these as a gift to use on some hand quilting projects. They're sturdy and work well for hand quilting through multiple layers and thick fabrics. Working with the various lengths is enjoyable. They're not my favorite for piecing just two thinner layers, but they'll do the job (just not in my opinion). I really wish this set came with a variety of widths in various lengths. The case is fantastic!.
This was more for the needles than the wooden box. I really like the box in that regard. It's well-made, and the lid closes easily. The needles are well-made and of good quality as well. They're quite large, and the needles' eye is also quite large, but they're good needles that don't appear to be rusting anytime soon.
It is of no use. They were thick and difficult to pull through heavy fabric, making them unsuitable for thin and medium-weight fabrics.
This cute little package is perfect for me. I do other crafts that necessitate dull needles, and having this distinct holder makes it easy to pull one out of my bag. The needles are strong and precise. Sharp needles will not be lost in your bag or box because the container is threaded shut.
I bought these needles because of the lovely wood case, but they are fantastic! They come in a variety of sizes, making them ideal for embroidery or small sewing stitches.
Purchased for hand quilting on a larger scale. These needles are beautiful, as is the wooden case that they come in. Any hand quilter on your list would love this as a stocking stuffer.
Quality construction, fits easily in my embroidery basket, plenty of room for extra needles, and makes a good small gift idea.
