Questions & Answers
The needle you need for Pearl Cotton size 8 must be equivalent to chiffon. My suggestion would be to use chenille needle size 22 or perhaps a size 24. With just regular single ply floss, these are difficult to thread.

I am telling you, these needles are the best I have ever used for hand sewing. Even though they can be a little difficult to thread, I have been sewing with them for years and they seem to have changed my life. There is no difference in how easily they glide in and out of any type of fabric. My favorite are the #10's. I wear a thimble so rarely that I hardly ever have to use it anymore since they pierce the fabric so easily. I bought the #11 and #10 but I think I prefer the #10. In addition, they leave tiny holes in the thread with almost no sign of stitching visible. An entirely new dimension has been added to my appliqué. The needles would have been much more useful if I had known about them much earlier.
The majority of the time, I use just one thread for embroidery. There is a lot of need for detail in the.
I use these needles for all my embroidery. This is a very sharp, flexible, and smooth knife.
A needle of the highest quality. I'd say it's worth the price, but it's a little pricey.
I am very happy with the result.
A needle I found to be surprising.
